It was fantastic staying here. Beautiful location right on the beach. The family were such lovely hosts - caring, friendly and helpful. We had meals cooked here everyday which were simply delicious. For a relaxed stay, close to Nacpan beach, this is an ideal place. Basic, with lots of mosquitos (you have a net to sleep in), but it's what you expect so don't let that put you off. I would 100% love to return our day. Thank you for a wonderful experience :)

What you see is what you, but comfortable and affordable. Nacpan is a beautiful place to go. I must go back as I only stayed for only 2 days. Thank you Mama Cherry for the hospitality. Till next time!

Staying at Mama Cherry's was a delight. Far from the bustling streets of El Nido, this place is the perfect way to wind down and listen to the waves breaking from your bedroom. Cherry took really good care of us, making delicious vegan food (pancakes 3) and arranging transport to and from El Nido. With Napcan beach a 5 min walk away, this place is perfect for anyone wanting to relax in a paradise setting.

Such an amazing experience to stay at Mama's. People are so kind and generous ! The beach was wonderful (the best of Palawan). Yes it's a bit far from El Nido but so quiet, so beautiful...I didn't regret it. And the food was soooo delicious and fresh ! The room is clean, big and typical... Meet Mama and her family was my best experience in Palawan ! I totally recommand this stay ! Thanks for everything !

It was hard to reach the hosts before our trip but when we arrived Mama Cherry and her family were nice and friendly. They upgraded our room to the top floor which we were truly grateful for, because the original room is beside the kitchen and faces a small sort of bar with TV which can be noisy. Electricity starts at 6PM via generator until 10 pm which was manageable. It was our honeymoon and we were looking for a secluded, peaceful place away from the town of El Nido. We thought that Calitang Beach would be more secluded than Nacpan, but the homes were very close to each other. It's not Mama Cherry's fault of course but ours, for not researching properly. Nacpan beach is more vast and secluded after all, so we hiked there daily during daytime. The houses in Calitang were too close to each other and the resort next door to Mama Cherry's (Calitang Beach Resort) rudely held nightly karaoke (with drunk people singing until midnight or later) which really ruined the peaceful, tranquil atmosphere that we traveled so far for. Be careful for beach fleas also (we left with lots of bites), so bring a huge bottle of repellent. All in all, it was a good stay with nice hosts.

Beautiful views but.. There is VERY limited electricity and trying to have a shower or use the toilet in the evening was a nightmare. Mama Cherry doesnt like it if you wish to book tours with other companies which made us feel uncomfortable when we wanted to go with our friends who had already booked with another tour oporater. Other than that, the food was good especially banana pancakes and coffee is free and really nice! Thank you Cherry x

Everything was perfect. Cherry is the perfect host and will go out of her way to make you feel at home. She was our mum for the holiday. Location is breaktaking. If I was to do El Nido area again I wouldn't bother staying in messy busy El Nido town and just go straight up to Calitang Beach to Mama Cherrys. And you Can do all the tours with her to. All the locals are genuinely nice up there also. Mama Cheerys food was also perfect and I think I had about 6 of her to die for banana pancakes!! Highly recommended.
