Rob is a great host. Very welcoming and helpful and responsive to our needs. The kitchen is stocked and there were more then enough towels and bathroom supplies. It is a basement apartment so the bedroom is windowless with a furnace running in the closet but the apartment is spacious and the living area overlooks the river through large sliding glass doors. The house is quiet and scenic but close to everything. We enjoyed the canoe ride and the hot tub and were pleased with the our stay.

Ron made us feel very welcome with a basket of treats as well as a bottle of wine and a couple of waters in the fridge. He was very responsive to our every need.

This listing was exactly as pictured and described. It's a converted basement in a large home, but lives like a little house on it's own! Right on the water and so pretty. The neighborhood is an established upscale residential area. We really enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. We used the canoe and paddled up the slough and got in the hot tub in the mornings. Ron met us when we got there, had great communication and told us to let him know if we needed anything. He even left us snacks and wine! This AirBnB kitchen was very stocked with extra dishes, silverware, and plates. We didn't do a lot of cooking, but all of the amenities were there. There was shampoo, conditioner and fresh soap in the bathroom. LOTS of extra blankets, towels, even coffee creamer in the fridge. We walked to Autzen stadium for a football game, it is the perfect location for that. Had dinner downtown Eugene one night, just a 10 minute drive. The town was so friendly and quaint. I can't wait to bring my children back and stay here again.

We were taking our daughter to college for her freshman year and needed a place to stay near the University of Oregon, and Autzen stadium where we had tickets to watch a PAC-12 football game. We arrived very late, but Ron did a wonderful job communicating with us, so we did not have any issue getting into the unit. The bathroom was a little small. But, the unit had a full kitchen with a great view of the river, plenty of waterfowl, and Prefontaine's trail. We ran the trail for our workouts, and that was convenient and beautiful. The cherry tomatoes from the garden and the bottle of wine were a very nice touch. It was also very convenient to walk to the stadium instead of driving or worrying about parking. I had a work issue come up where I needed to print a document, and Ron was fantastic. He knows computers and his network very well. I was impressed at how he was able to network a different printer on the spot, so I could access it through the wireless network. Fortunately, I was able to get the document turned around before the day's end. We would stay here again when visiting Eugene.

Such a fantastic place to spend a weekend. We really enjoyed having breakfast on the outdoor patio over looking the canal and had so much fun taking out the various watercraft options each day! Thank you Ron!
