My home is minutes away from downtown Wilmington, very close to the airport and Screen Gems movie studio, 10 min. from UNCW, 15 min. from Wrightsville Beach. You’ll love my place because of the coziness, the view, and the location. My home is in Princess Place, a quiet neighborhood full of charming 1940s homes. My home backs up to beautiful Burnt Mill Creek. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. LGBT home. LGBT friendly. My beagle, Stella, also lives here.

The space

My home is cozy and decorated in mid-century modern style. The guest room faces Burnt Mill Creek and has a beautiful view. I have a mid-century desk, closet and dresser guests can use.

Guest access

Guest will have a private room, access to a shared bathroom, along with shared use of common spaces such as the kitchen, living room, dining room and back porch. Guest may help themselves to coffee in the morning. Full breakfast is not provided.

Interaction with guests

When I first moved to Wilmington I drove a bike taxi and gave tours of downtown. Please ask me anything you'd like to know about where to eat and what to do. I keep information about some of my favorite places on top of the dresser in the guest room. I am generally a pretty hands-off host unless guests need advice. My beagle and I may or may not be around during your stay, but I am always close-by and available via text.

Chadwick's place is in a great location, just a few miles from downtown/historic Wilmington. It was convenient to drive or take an uber to all of the major tourist sites. We enjoyed spending time with Chadwick and his two dogs who are very loving and friendly towards guests. The guest room and shared bathroom were clean and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly stay here again!

The house was really nice! Very clean and very accomodating. I loved the bowl of candy on the dresser. I would absolutely stay here again!

Chadwick's place was just what my boyfriend and I needed for a weekend trip. It was clean, quiet, close to downtown and just 15 minutes away from Wrightsville Beach. We would definitely stay again.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful visit to Chadwick's. His house is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood that is close to downtown. Upon arriving we couldn't help but admire the household and all the wonderful art and literature. Our room was perfectly sized and had complimentary candy, WiFi, and shower amenities. Chadwick really seemed to go out of his way to make sure the experience was wonderful. He made a point of recommending restaurants and activities that really made for a great trip. I would recommend this house anyone, honestly. He also has an adorable, sweet old dog named Stella who really helped us feel welcomed.

Chadwick's place is a delightfully eclectic one; it's full of posters, books, and arts which speak clearly and wittily to the values of a young teacher/scholar of film and gender studies at UNC Wilmington. We enjoyed our stay very much.
