Côté Jardin is part of the Master house of the 16th C with outbuildings around a nice courtyard and exceptional garden with enormous trees, situated in the lovely village of Cubjac, near the river the Auvézère in the Dordogne. Cubjac is located at 20 km of Périgueux, 12 km from the caves of Tourtoirac, 20 km from Hautefort Castle, a bit more to the south you find the famous caves of Montignac-Lascaux and the beautiful villages like Sarlat, Les Eyzies, Saint Amand de Coly.

The space
This charming stonebuild property of the 16th century, from origin a group of 3 houses with little backstreets, now coverd in total with 4 roofs is full of authenticity like the heigh ceilings, the stone build staircase, the original woodenfloors, the old stone floor in the " farmers" kitchen with its hugh fireplace, the outbuilding in which was the former horse stable and the barn for the cows and hay storage. The cottage the Côté Jardin is one of thoses houses and has his salon, the dining room and the farmers"kitchen all on the ground floor. The salon dispose of 2 big sofabeds, which are in fact real beds, one for 1 person and the other for 2 persons. The dining room in between the salon and the fully equiped original farmers kitchen, offers you a nice place for having your meal inside. The kitchen has a 5pits gas cooker with oven integrated, a mico wave oven and some machineries as breadcooker, riz cooker. The french windows in the salon and dining room show you at one sight the big garden and at the north side the court yard. On the first floor, you will find a bedroom with 1 bed for 2 persons, with next to and through this bedroom there is the bathroom, with shower, hand-wash-basin, bidet and toilet. The côté jardin which is located on the domain the Nid des Oiseaux is located in the beautiful village of Cubjac, next to the river Auvezère, with its little beach where people swimm in the Dordogne area.
This domain is close to Montignac-Lascaux, Hautefort, Tourtoirac, Perigueux, Brantome and Sarlat.
The Dordogne is famous for its culture, pre-history of caves, castles, musea, beautiful landscapes, markets and food.

The property has a wonderful garden with majestic old trees and inner courtyard which offers you the quiet and relaxed atmosphere you're looking for. In the courtyard you can prepare your meal on the barbecue or have a nice glass of wine or just relax in the sun or shade. The garden is now divided we tree truncs, so every body can have his own spot and feel comfortable.
