The space

Plenty of space to share with friends and family. Cozy yet super functional and a lot of amenities abound here. Come home from a day of skiing or hiking or kayaking on the nearby lakes and settle into the family room with one of a dozen board games or puzzles. Steal away to the deck surrounded by trees and perfect serenity while listening to the nearby vernal brook babbling by. Home comes equipped with full laundry room, well stocked kitchen with both Keurig and drip coffee makers. The 2 person sauna provides therapeutic heat to those dreary muscles after an amazing day of skiing. Towels/bedding are all provided. Firewood for the fireplace, woodstove and the fire pit is also provided. There are 2 adult kayaks with roof "J" carriers and 2 child kayaks all with life jackets you are welcome to use as well. The "lakes region" is just 3 miles away and definitely worth exploring on the kayaks!

We love our home here in beautiful Vermont. We take pride in the quaint details and the overall tidiness of the house. We do not contract a property management company or a cleaning service. All cleaning, laundry, and maintenance is done by us your host. All we ask is that you are responsible with our home and belongings and help us keep the house in tip top shape. Please leave the house in the condition it was in when you arrived.

Nice home, and beautiful area. Very dark at night.

What a beautiful spot! We had a running team of 6 of us at Theresa's home. We barely got to stay there because we ran our race, went back to the house to sleep and then were off in the morning. My greatest regret was that we didn't get to stay there longer. It offered really nice common space, lovely rooms to sleep a gang (could have had 2 teams there! - maybe next year!) and the view was gorgeous. A nice fire pit out front would have been perfect to use if we weren't so tired from our race!! Thanks for everything Theresa! We loved it and hope to come back!

Beautiful and spacious home; the pictures do not do it justice. Rooms are nicely appointed and comfortable, with plenty of bathrooms for a larger group. The wood-burning fireplace upstairs and antique stove downstairs are fantastic for warming up on a cold night. Could not be more pleased with our stay, albeit short. Would highly recommend this Okemo-centric Airbnb.

The house was absolutely beautiful and very charming and the host could not have been more helpful and responsive. The home had more amenities than we could have asked for. The pictures do not do it justice! Also very close to town and the ski slopes. Perfect weekend and could not recommend the home and host highly enough.

My family and I took a trip up to VT in mid October this year and staying at Theresa's home was one of the highlights of the trip. Our plans were rained out on Saturday so we stayed at the cabin much more than we originally anticipated and we are so glad we did! Theresa's instructions were perfect and very clear. The location at first seems very secluded but the center of town is only a 5 minute drive away! Best of both worlds! I will definitely be returning to stay at Theresa's next time I visit VT. Thanks Theresa!

We stayed for a weekend during peak foliage and had a great time. The house is really charming. It was downright spacious for our group of five, and would be really comfortable for a larger group. We loved drinking coffee out on the porch in the morning, and playing board games in the dining room at night. The house feels remote and private, yet it's only about a mile from the restaurants and shops, and maybe 15 minutes from Okemo. Theresa was very helpful and quick to get back to our questions. We've stayed at a few great places in the area, but this one is my favorite so far.
