Meinolf's place is very comfortable and clean. Although very quiet located it is close to the city (30min walking). We enjoyed the combination of countryside in Umbria and the historic city of Perugia a lot!

Nice place to stay just outside Perugia. Meinolf and his son are wonderfull host, cannot recommend them enough. We suffered a bit from the hot days, especially in the sleeping gallery: the sofa bed is in a better position and with the windows open we slept without problem. Please note that the street to the house is really steep and narrow, but we become accustomed to it in no time.

We really loved the apartmant, it is perfect for a couple. Meinolf is a very kind person, didn't bother us but gave all information and help that we needed.

We spent a wonderfully relaxing 10 days in Meinolf's apartment. It is in a beautiful and tranquil location, surrounded by olive groves and yet just 25-30 minute walk to the centre of Perugia. The walk is up a steep hill but if you don't mind this then it couldn't be better. The apartment itself has everything we needed and was very clean with a well equipped kitchen. The balcony was brilliant and we spent lots of time out there eating or just looking at the wonderful view up to the old city. We would highly recommend this to anyone looking to visit Perugia.

Meinholf's apartment is great as a budget stay for Perugia. We didn't actually meet Meinholf but he was very easy to reach about arrival and any questions we had. The good - comfortable and clean. The views from the terrace in the morning are great. It's quite walkable to the center of Perugia (about 30 mins, although a lot uphill). There is a lot of nature around, we saw lots of fire flies one evening which was wonderful. Things to improve - when we arrived there was only about 1/4 roll toilet paper left - we contacted Meinholf and he quickly came up with solutions. If you have a car, make sure (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) Maps does not try to take you up the incredibly steep hill to the town (there is a second road that leads to the main road instead that is more suitable). Our Fiat 500 literally could not make it up the hill, and we spent a little while figuring out how in fact to leave the property. Maybe this could be mentioned in the listing to help guests. There is no A/C and the apartment does get very warm at night. The fan helps, but if you struggle with warm sleeping conditions, maybe not for you. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and it is fantastic value for money. thanks!

By far, the best Air-bnb experience I'll ever have, of that I'm sure :)

Meinolf's place is very peaceful with an outstanding view on Perugia. His son was kind enough to drive us from the minimetro station for our arrival, which made things easier. People should be aware that the path from the house to the city center is about 20mn with a good slope. But the reward is that you feel like being in the country, in the middle of olive trees and birds. The house is very convenient, with everything you need to cook. You will enjoy breakfast on the terrace.
