If you should lose a key you can get one made at Ace Hardware across from Burger King in Gulf Shores or at Lowe’s or Home Depot in Foley. Please do not put unit number or condo name on keys.

We work hard to keep our furniture looking clean and new. Please be reminded to use a towel to cover these items before being seated if you have suntan oil or self-tanning products, as this will stain the fabric.

As you will see, we take very good care of our condo and we expect you to treat our unit with the same respect as you would your own home. Please help us continue to provide these lower rental prices and an up-to-date, clean condo by preventing excessive wear and tear.

Our condo is non-smoking and pets are not allowed. If the condo smells of smoke for the next guest, deposit will not be refunded.


Upon arrival, check the condo for any apparent damage and report it right away to us. If there seems to be excessive dirt on the furniture, a portion of the previous guests’ deposit will be used for cleaning.

Feet tend to get very dirty when walking barefoot in the halls and parking lot. There is a shower head and spigot around the building by the stairs to use prior to coming upstairs. Be sure and wipe feet thoroughly when entering the condo. We want to provide a well kept and clean unit for you and future guests as well.

Reminders: Please do not run the air conditioner if you choose to open the door to the deck and leave it open. This could burn out the unit and would prove to be very expensive for us to replace as well as making the rest of your vacation very HOT! We also ask that children not be allowed to jump on the sleeper sofa or beds. Popsicles, Kool-Aid and grape juice will stain the furniture so we must ask that your family refrain from bringing these types of items into the condo. If it happens that the furniture is soiled or spilled on please wipe up the spills or dirt just as if it was your own home.

Please report and appliance (stove, fridge, microwave, water heater, AC) or electrical equipment (TV, DVD, clock) or plumbing (toilet, sink, bathtub, dishwasher) that you find to be malfunctioning as soon as possible so we can get it replaced or fixed.

Our condo is a part of a homeowner’s association and there are rules for the complex that apply to each owner. Eviction will be executed for any guest breaking the association rules, damaging a unit, or vandalizing Las Palmas property with no rent or deposit returned.

Please help us with utilities. Keeping thermostat at 70 degrees or higher in summer helps us to keep our rental rates down.

How to get to us: Go to the end of Hwy 59S. Where you have to turn left or right at the end of Hwy 59 turn right. Go 1 ¾ mile and we are on the right side. Our parking is under the first building and parking spot has our number A2 above it.

How to get onto the beach: Cross street and go to the designated grass walkway at the right of Shoreline Tower Condominiums to walk onto the beach. Please do not cut
through other complexes.


These are items we take along when we go to the beach:

The kitchen is equipped with all the items you will need We provide hand towels and dish cloths, but we always use more. We have provided some of the very basic cleaning materials such as dishwasher powder, dish detergent, but we recommend that you check under the sink to see if there is sufficient quantity. You will need some 13 gallon trash bags, paper towels, air freshener spray, laundry detergent and extra toilet paper. You may want to bring extra bath towels if you use them only once. We provide 8 bath towels and 8 wash cloths and 4 hand towels. You will need a small cooler to take drinks over to the beach, an umbrella (this is one of the most important things we take to prevent sunburn and to be able to stay on the beach long after others leave) fold-up beach chairs and plenty of beach towels, meat tenderizer and alcohol in case of a jellyfish sting (hope there aren’t any), Sunblock and Aloe after suntan lotion, sunglasses, hats, goggles and snorkel gear. A small net to catch fish is fun for kids. Flashlight for night beach walks (we love the dusk walks), coozies to keep drinks cold, kites and Frisbees for great fun on the beach. Boogie boards are about $10 and will keep kids occupied for hours. Village By The Gulf is right next to a Waves store and many of the beach related items are right there if you forget to bring them.

A Super Wal-Mart is also about 3 miles away for your beach items and grocery needs. There are amusement parks, a water park, beachfront restaurants and many family attractions within a couple of minutes. Motor scooter rentals, bikes, parasailing and jet ski rentals are right on the beach. The streets have wide bike and pedestrian lanes allowing you to walk right from the condo down to restaurants and stores in just a few minutes.

1. Please turn the A/C to 73 in Spring & Summer when you are departing your last day. Turn A/C to 76 in Fall upon departure.
2. Please place all dirty dishes in the dishwasher, fill with powder and turn on before you depart. Take all trash to the dumpster.
3. Please place all dirty towels & washcloths on bathroom floor for the cleaning person.
4. Please leave all the sheets, mattress pads, comforters, quilts, blankets and pillow shams ON the beds when you leave the last time.

Things you might like to know, . . .


Where is Walmart: At Hwy 180/Fort Morgan Road. About 2 miles from condo

What is our favorite restaurant: Lulu’s Marina. It is by the tall bridge that comes into Gulf Shores. You get there from the north side of the bridge. Live music, Good food, Good prices

Best restaurant with children: Lambert’s Café in Foley. You will be entertained. I promise.

You are at the beach but don’t forget Gulf State Park/Lake Shelby. The condo is only about 3 miles from there. New 1500’ long pier is ¾ mile from condo. Good fishing or sightseeing.

Outlet shopping in Foley is only 8 miles north of Gulf Shores. Actually the highway is loaded with outlet type stores on each side in Foley and just south of Foley. Good night time activity.

Plenty of things to spend all your money on to entertain kids at night. Be sure to look for things like coupon books at stores and restaurants to save money on things like miniature golf, water park, go-carts, zoo, etc. Don’t forget to visit zoo with your children. Do zoo on cloudy day.

We have many, many golf courses in the area. Most of them are championship caliber.

Gulf Shores has their city recreation facilities just as you come into town. You can pay a small daily fee to use their workout rooms. Very modern and clean.

The Post Office and Library are also on the right as you enter Gulf Shores. The library has PC’s available to use.

There is church on the beach during the summer at 7:30 AM every Sunday. Go 3 ½ miles east from our condo to Gulf State Park Pavilion. It is a large parking lot and you go to the far end boardwalk. It is interdenominational and lasts 50 minutes.

We don’t drink so I don’t know the good clubs. You’ll have to find them on your own. Maybe you’ll be too tired at the end of the day to find any!

We spent about 5 days at this condo and it was very clean with a great location to the beach. It was perfect for our family as it had a pool and playground. We had a great vacation.

Randy is a cut above the rest when it comes to hospitality and accommodation. The place was amazing and clean. My 3 kids had the time of their lives having such easy access to the pool, beach, food, and of course wi-fi for the hand computers. I will be back and hope that Randy's place is available.
