About this listing
We have a Queen room with private bath in a beautifully preserved 1904 Victorian home in the historic mining town of Red Cliff, a hidden gem just 16 miles from Vail. There are trails out the door, incredible scenery, & eclectic local art!
The queen room is quite large & will accommodate two people very comfortably. The bathroom is located inside the room & includes a clawfoot tub with shower. The home & room are well-appointed & cozy. We provide linens, towels & a local phone in the room. Guests should bring a calling card for long-distance calls.
There is no TV, & Red Cliff has no cell or text service. You may text via your wifi app. Our satellite internet bandwidth is very limited, so it may only be used for email. Guests are welcome to bring a laptop or portable DVD player & may borrow from our DVD collection.
The home is best suited for guests seeking quiet & a respite from the bustle of modern life!
Guests are welcome to enjoy morning coffee & snacks in the dining room, however we do not serve meals or offer access to the kitchen. We provide coffee, tea, cocoa, & snacks. There is a microwave & a tiny fridge to store small food items.
Guests may also relax, read, or play games in the parlor & are welcome to sit in the lovely side yard along Turkey Creek in the warmer seasons.
We ask that the rest of the home & property remain private.
Guests should plan to lock skis, bikes, or other sports equipment on or inside their vehicles.

I have lived in the Vail Valley for almost 30 years & chose to settle in Red Cliff because of its location only 16 miles from Vail but worlds away from the resort hustle & bustle.
I am developing a promotional website to help people "DiscoverRedCliff" & see all that our town has to offer.
My current profession is real estate, but I try to play outside & experience life as much as possible.
