The Log Cabin has no electricity but has romantic twinkle LED lights. No matter what the weather you can be cosy inside with the log burner. It is in a secluded adults only paddock, overlooking our wildlife pond towards the South Downs. Everything is provided for you except towels, food and drink. There is a place for you to have your own campfire outside. We sell logs on site. You may bring your car close to the log cabin to unload and then all cars are returned to the parking field.
Inside our lovely log cabin you have vintage furniture, lovely 100% Persian wool hand knotted rug, 1920's kitchen cabinet, King size bed with memory foam topper, great little log burner for chillier nights. We provide all saucepans, crockery and utensils and an outside kitchen with 2 gas burners and grill. If you like to lie in we have blackout blinds so that the sun won't wake you too early, in fact everything except towels, food and drink. You can sit outside at the bistro table and chairs with a glass (or two) of wine, watching swallows sweep down over the pond and buzzards circling over head. We even supply a bird book to help you identify certain species. We have 3 showers and 4 toilets on site.
We are a working farm so some parts are out of bounds for health and safety reasons. In a separate field we have a family camping area and every Sunday you are welcome to view a milking demonstration with Pansy our house cow. You can see our 4 little piglets Rosie, Mark ,Jim and Nick. We sell some of our own and locally sourced produce such as fresh eggs, bacon, sausages, burgers and steak. Pre-ordering is wise.
