Seget Donji is a tourist destination and is part of the Split - Dalmatia or the Central Dalmatia tourist region. Seget Donji is the largest place in the county of Seget. County of Seget developed 1993. after administrative spliting from Trogir. Center is located 2 km far from the town of Trogir, which is on the UNESCO list of world cultural heritage. Seget Donji has a long tourist tradition which became organized with hotel "Jadran"- since 1962., and hotel "Medena" - since 1971., and due to its mild climate the inhabitants mainly deal with agriculture , fishing & tourism.
Seget Donji is a great destination for families. There are beautiful shallow pebble beaches with restaurants and bars all the way along the coast, near the crystal clear sea. There is also a nice promenade till the tourist resort "Medena " where you can find various facilities for children as well as many water sport facilities, tennis courts, trim tracks and other sport playgrounds that are available for every visitor. At night, you can visit restaurants or one of night clubs on the beach.
Seget Donji has "A" class tourist categorization under Croatian classified legislation , and all beaches is under Blue flag ( excellent quality and pure of sea water ).
The village Seget Donji is founded in 1565 ,under rule of Venice, when the executive magistrate of Trogir issued the permit to venetian nobbleman Giaccomo (Jakov) Rotondo, to build a tower. Later, around this tower, the village was fortified surrounded by the walls and four towers in order to protect the village from Otoman Turkish invasion.
In the castle were 3 lengthwise and 2 diagonal stone-paved streets. Inside the castle you can find the parish church of Saint Mary of Rosary built in XVIII century.
Seget Donji was part of Venetia, France, Austria, Kingdom of Yugoslavia ...
1941. Seget was occupied by Italian troops until 1943. and then by Germans troops in so-called pupet state - "Independent State of Croatia" until 1944.
Soon after liberation by Tito's Yugoslav partisans, Seget Donji became part of Federal State of Croatia which became part of new socijalist Yugoslavia.
1991. Republic of Croatia declare independency from Yugoslavia and Seget Donji became part of modern Republic of Croatia.
There is one more place in Croatia which name is Seget and is placed in region Istra near town Umag.

According to our live at the same property, we always welcome our guests, show them the listing and explain to them everything they need to know and give them the answers to all their questions. We are always available 24h if they need anything and we say goodbye to them at the day of their departure.
Other things to note
To make sure that you will have a pleasant stay and to prevent any misunderstanding, please read the house rules in private accommodation. When you confirm a reservation it is implied that you are familiar and agree with them, and that you will fully adhere to them. Violation of house rules can result in the cancellation of the reservation.
On the day of arrival the guests have to give to the hosts their identification documents (passport or ID) for the purpose of registration at the Tourist Board. The documents have to be returned to them within 24 hours.
The hosts are available to the guests during their stay for any information and assistance they may need.
The guests are responsible for the cleanness of the apartment. The hosts are not required to clean and tidy up, or to take out the garbage during the whole stay of the guests.
The hosts will change the bed linen every 7 days. The hosts will provide towels, kitchen cloth, toilet paper, soap and detergent as well.
Beach chairs and umbrellas are available at a fee .
The guests are obliged to take care of their personal things and valuables left in the accommodation. The hosts will not be responsible in case of any disappearance, we advise then the guests to always close the doors and windows when they go out.
The hosts do not have the right to enter in the rented accommodation during the absence of the guests, except to stop damages or a danger occurring in the accommodation. In this case they have to inform the guests about it as soon as they come back at the accommodation. If the hosts have any reason to believe that house rules are violated, the guests have to let them enter in the accommodation in order to check the situation.
It is not allowed to bring any weapon, inflammable or explosive substances and products with strong or unpleasant smell into the apartment. As well any cooking and electrical appliances are not allowed without the agreement of the hosts.
The guests are kindly asked to take care of the accommodation and its furniture situated inside and outside of it. The guests are not allowed to move the furniture or to transport it to another accommodation, outside or to the beach (the kitchen chairs to the terrace, cutlery to another accommodation unit, towels or blankets to the beach).
The use of any equipment or appliance not included in the price of the accommodation is possible only on agreement of the hosts.
When the guests go out of the accommodation they have the obligation to close the parasols, switch off the lights and electrical appliances, close the gas and water. As well the guests are asked while they are outside not to leave the air-conditioning on if it is not necessary, and to close doors and windows while it is in use. It is not allowed to cool down food and drinks by leaving them under running water. It is forbidden to throw waste in the toilets or in any other place not predicted for this purpose like outside the house or in its vicinity.
It is strictly forbidden that any person other that the guests stay inside or outside the accommodation. If any other person that the one declare at the moment of the reservation are present in the accommodation, the hosts have the right to cancel the reservation of all the guests. Guests staying in any accommodation that does not belong to the hosts do not have the right to enter in their accommodation without their agreement.
If the guests intend to arrive after 20:00 on the first day they have to inform the hosts about it in order to avoid that the hosts propose their accommodation to other guests, thinking that the first one gave up of the reservation.
On the day of departure the guests have to leave the accommodation the latest at 10:00, in order that the hosts have time to prepare it for the next guests arriving at 14:00. The guests have the obligation to leave the accommodation in the same condition as they found it, tidy and undamaged.
The guests are requested not to disturb the peace of the hosts and other customers from 14:00 to 17:00 and from 22:00 to 8:00.
The hosts can put an end to the reservation of the guests who do not respect house rules.
When starting to use the accommodation it is assumed that the guests are familiar with the house rules and that they agree with their conditions and obligations.
Smoking is only allowed outside apartment.
