This village house is close to many area attractions. It is a short walk from both the general store and the public beach on beautiful Caspian Lake. Other Greensboro highlights: Hill Farmstead Brewery, hiking and ski trails, miles of scenic walking and biking possibilities. You’ll love our place because of the cozy farmhouse feel and accessibility to all that the Northeast Kingdom has to offer to couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families with children.

The space

This home was the original farmhouse for Lauredon Farm which was until 1972 a large working dairy farm in the village of Greensboro. The house has been updated and renovated over the years with the integrity of it's farmhouse roots in mind. We hope you enjoy this cozy and beautiful space as much as we do!

Guest access

You will have access to the first and second floor of the house with the exception of the one room marked private. (You may request a "special offer if you choose to use only the first floor.) You are also welcome to utilize the outside space with the exception of the barn and the garage. There is a great little sledding hill for the kiddos in the side yard!

Interaction with guests

We live next door and manage the property. Please let us know if we can be of any help.

Other things to note

There is no cell phone service in Greensboro, so plan accordingly. There is wifi available at the house and a land line for local calls and emergencies.
This is a very large space. If you are interested in using only the first floor, which includes one queen bedroom and a full bath, ask us about a special offer excluding use of the second floor.

Beautiful house in rural Greensboro. Close to Barr hill and hill farmstead. Great general store across the street. House was everything in the description. Had a wonderful time and would definitely book again.

Comfortable, charming, clean and spacious home. Right next to Willey's Store where you can buy all the best cheeses, meat, coffee and beer to cook up in the kitchen. Gorgeous area. Michele was responsive, flexible, helpful and efficient. Will be back.

The farmhouse is beautiful! We didn't want to leave. Michele was also incredibly helpful providing information on Greensboro and its amenities. We will be back!

Michele is a wonderful host! We love the old farmhouse and Michele's little touches - - she had coffee, half and half and a snack waiting for us the evening we arrived. We've stayed in this house several times before - - it is always clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. We had a great visit, and hope to go back for the foliage festivals in October!

Nice place, charming, great location, very helpful and accommodating hosts. (Provided a porta-crib, start-up food, etc.) We loved being able to walk to the beach, Willey's, museum, gallery, etc. The house is charming, the yard great for kids' play. On a rainy day the porch was a great outdoor space for the kids. We had everything we needed there for a great time in Greensboro.

We were very happy with the home. In the center of the Greensboro town, where we can walk to the local general store, ice cream store, and public beach. It was also very close to the brewery, Hill Farmstead, which we were attending an event. The home was very spacious and had everything we needed from linens to kitchen/cooking items.
