In 500 words: HOST. Nootsara is a very dedicated and caring host, even though she seem to be new on AirBnb. I have used instant booking while I was in a taxi drive to dcondo campus, and was met by her sister in just like 20 minutes or so after arrival. Even though it was so quick, she has politely apologized for making me wait. I was warmly welcomed and guided to the apartment and have had instantly made myself felt at home. That is fantastic, please keep up to this standard! AREA & AIR. The birds singing, the leaves rustling in wind, the quaity of air I breathed and the sense of serenity cannot be depicted or placed in words. You may only experience that yourself. That is very unique for Chiangmai where you may live at the foot of the mountain, have a shared pool+gym, live a simple village-style life and at the same time enjoy all the perks the modern civilization may give. ...aaand a free bicycle for 3hours! ROOM. It is very clean, everything is placed there with caring hands: two half-liter bottles of water, one 1,5L in the fridge; some snacks, tea, sugar, you name it. I usually have all by my own or eat out when I don't, but I was pleased to be ensured by the host that I may have watever it is in the room without any extras charged. At my service there were: fully packed kitchen with toaster, microwave, kettle; iron in the box, dryer stand on the balcony, and even an UMBRELLA!!! (Yes, strangely enough in rainy Chiang Mai that was the first time in 6+ months here when I've seen an Umbrella in the room!!!). 5 star hotels do not count. Soap for shower, soap for hands, soap in the kitchen, napkins!!! Those small things are SOgreat when they are in place. Big TV, some local Thai books. You may do appointments with your partners/friends at the lobby, which is especially great from 16:00 to 19:00 when A/C is turned on. The room is on the 2nd floor which has a view of the lobby through the big floor-to-ceiling windows. It is worth walking by just to see how gorgeous it is. POOL & GYM. Swimming pool is big enough for lap swimming, when you have time to schedule this great activity. Gym is small but the design makes you want to be there like daily. Reading space beneath it. Open air rain showers. Lockers in place. NEIGHBOURHOOD. When you climb up the Suthep Alley, there is a whole new world of calmness waiting you there. A great huge lake/pond with a bird's fly view of the Chiang Mai city. Walking in the mountain's forest is amazingly quiet. Further to CMU there is a vast choice of shops of different caliber - from gaming clubs and print/scan shops, to many nice street food providers. TLDR: AAA+++ livnig space for a knowledge worker to get offline for a while!
