There is a rocking chair on the front porch waiting for you to use at our farm home. We have a quiet, separate area for you. You may stay in your own private area or join us in our spacious kitchen for a glass of iced sweet tea.

The space

We live on a farm in Central NE Arkansas, 3 miles South of Newport. We are 35 miles North of Searcy and 50 miles West of Jonesboro.
We have two bedrooms available that share a full bath - completely private. We built our home here on the farm in 2006.
Helen is a retired Medical Technologist and Kenneth retired June 2014 after managing a farm store for many years.. This is a NON-SMOKING home. We have two dogs around the house and two cats at the barn. Our farm also has chickens and cows. Our Children are grown and live in another city. If our guests have time, we would love to share a cup a coffee and a danish (or something like that) with them. In the afternoon on a pretty day, they can sit in a rocker on the front porch with a glass of tea and watch the cows grazing. We request that our guest not bring pets. If a special allowance is made, there will be an extra charge.

They were great. Their home was great. Everything was so clean and decorated well. I'm pretty sure that I would choose to be friends with these charming people. My husband and I got a healthy dose of southern hospitality. Thank you, Helen and Kenneth.

Helen and Kenneth accommodated us on such short notice after our airbnb had cancelled! They were so helpful in letting us know about the community and where to find things. They made us feel right at home!

Helen and Kenneth were so helpful as I arrived 2 hours later than expected - past 9 pm. Kenneth met me at the off ramp of the highways and I followed him to the farm. The farm is beautiful and the stay was lovely - only 1 night - but I appreciated the homemade breakfast and delicious coffee!

Helen and Kenneth were amazing hosts. They have the AirBNB process down to a science. Kenneth made us feel welcome as we pulled into the driveway, and Helen immediately put us at ease opening her beautiful home and showing us our bath and bedroom. She even went online to help us figure out how to get to our evening plans. Wifi worked great, they are on a beautiful farm with gorgeous flowerbeds all around. When we didn't get up in time to make the local farmer's market she made me some homemade cinnamon rolls that were amazing. We could not have been more comfortable and hope to stay again some day. Everything was pristinely clean and every need has been thought of.

Helen and Kenneth were so accommodating and hospitable! You couldn't ask for a more home away from home feeling. They were attentive to my every need and beyond. Would definitely stay again if my work would ever bring me back to that part of the country.
