Our place feels like it's in the middle of no-where, but it's surprisingly close to Eugene (15 minutes away) where you can find all sorts of restaurants (Thai, Korean, Japanese, BBQ, Mediterranean, Indian, and amazing pizza-- just to name a few) and events (home of the University of Oregon).

You’ll love our place because of the quiet solitude, the kitchenette, and the accessibility to Oregon's natural attractions-- 1.5 hours west to the ocean & 1.5 hours east to the mountains!

The space

We have a large deck overlooking a meadow that you are more than welcome to share with us. We also have a garden full of yummy treats, and if you can beat our toddler to the bounty, feel free to pick and eat what you'd like.

Guest access

Feel free to use our washer and dryer (or clothes line). We will provide eco- friendly laundry soap.

Interaction with guests

If you're out and about and need advice on where to eat or what to do, we'll share our number with you so you can text with questions.

Other things to note

We have a very friendly cat, Oatis, who lives mostly outdoors and has access to the utility room. He is not allowed inside our main living space or your private room. Please be mindful of that. Thanks!

No WiFi available--- we are on limited data out here in the country. We like to enjoy stars instead of screens!

This is a great place to stay with a very welcoming family. You have your own entrance to your accommodation, which has its own bathroom. Your also have a kitchen with fridge, microwave, sink and the basics. The place is a little way out of Eugene, the journey ends up a winding track which my Sat Nav took me straight to. It is about 15-20 minutes into Eugene. Very peaceful, very accessible. I really enjoyed my stay, I am sure you will too.

Very welcoming family with a great location. The house is just a little south of Eugene but everything was close enough to not be a an issue at all. Jennifer directed us to a blueberry farm that may have been the highlight of our trip. We were not prepared for some of the weather and they let us use their gear, which was greatly appreciated. AirBnB at its best.

I choose this place because it was very close to my friend's house( They didn't have spare room for me and my husband) Host family was excellent! They were very friendly but not too much. Room was super clean, bed was comfortable, and Kitchen was functional. The house was surrounded by trees. It was very quite and beautiful which I expected as it is in the forest.(need to drive 14mins to get groceries) I think this place is perfect for someone wants to be in the nature. I loved that I could see the forest in the bed. The owner let us use their deck and gave us some fruits from their yard. I had really good rest there right after busy travel days in CA.

My husband and I love traveling and have traveled the world together. When we travel, we look for places that are clean, quiet, and close to outdoor adventures and natural beauty. We also appreciate getting the inside scoop on where to find good food, good hikes, and not-to-miss …
