Raymond Island is a lovely area great for nature lovers. Loved all the koalas and Blue View was in the best location overlooking Victoria lake. Booked already for the trip home. The studio was clean and had all we needed and host was very friendly and informative

Great peaceful location and lovely hosts. Sadly we did not have long enough to enjoy using the bar b que and see the whole island on foot. Next time!

The room is great with everything you need and more, the property is lovely in a scenic spot. The island is so quiet and full of wildlife. The Koalas are everywhere. A great place for a relaxing vacation.

The place is located close to the ferry port and in a lovely spot where we saw a koala and lots of parrots and with access to a small beach. Victor is a friendly host and the room was clean and well equipped.

Victor is an amazing host and the room was so fantastic, even better than we thought. It was only metres from the lake, and there were two koalas in the trees right outside our room. We brought our own sausages and had a BBQ, it was fantastic! The room itself is really comfortable, the bed nice and cosy and the heating was so good on a chilly winter night. We only stayed one night, which was definitely not enough, so we will have to come back to discover more of the island and it's furry inhabitants!

The accomodations were nice and in good condition. But Victor and the location are the real highlights. Located on Raymond Island (rather than Paynesville on the mainland), it's easy to wander outside and explore the island to see the koalas. There were even a couple in the yard! We enjoyed sitting on the nearby bench on the water to watch the sunrise. Victor gave great recommendations and was fun to converse with. I'm very happy with our experience.

My wife Victoria and I have sea changed to the magnificent Gippsland Lakes from Melbourne. As well as hosting Blueview, Koalas on Raymond Island and Koala Water Blueview, we also run an eco friendly tourism business called Ride The Koalas. We love the Lakes and our island paradis…
