Had a great stay in this delightful little cottage in a very tranquil location. Lots of room, immaculately clean, very well supplied with kitchen equipment, literature and maps for local attractions etc. Lovely touches like fresh flowers. Sisa is a very welcoming host who is readily available next door.

An absolutely stunning cottage. Wish we could of stayed an extra few nights. Sisa met us on our arrival with lots of information about the area.We were left fresh bread milk jam etc. Cottage is private and cosy. There's a pub within walking distance and lots of nearby walks we did a few!! Make sure to take your walking boots! I highly recommend this place. Will stay again.

Sisa's cottage is absolutely fantastic. Lovely and welcoming host and couldn't recommend staying here highly enough. She was happy to book tables at local pubs on our behalf and generally made our short stay very enjoyable!

Loved staying in this gorgeous cottage. It is cosy (and still spacious!) and full of charm & character. Immaculately clean & all the rooms have a lovely thoughtful finish. Walks can be done straight from the front door, surrounded by beautiful scenery. Enjoyed walks in the Manifold Valley & The Roaches. Lots of amenities in Leek 10-15 min drive away. Sisa was a great host; warm & welcoming and really helpful prior to our visit with info & recommendations on the local area. As we were only there for a brief stay this was a great help!

It was a pleasure to stay at your cottage.

We spent two nights at Butterton. We cooked the first night and everything needed and more was there is the clean and charming kitchen. The bathroom is beautiful and after a nice hot bath slept deeply on the very comfortable bed. After a day in the Dales we went on an beautiful walk from the doorstep. The little extras Sisa provides make this characterful little cottage a great stay. Thankyou Sisa.
