The apartment is big, clean, and fully-furnished. It is sound-proofed so it can be very quite or it can also be good for parties or for studying. However, I go to bed late, so if noise really, really bothers you for sleeping, please let me know.

The space

It is two blocks away from the metro and from the 165 bus that takes you downtown in 10 minutes. The apartment is very warm and spacious.

Guest access

You have access to a full kitchen, bathroom, Internet and a big, closed room. There is also laundry facilities on the next building that you can use. I'll also be providing you with a STM card so you can use all the Metro and Buses in the city.

Interaction with guests

I will be staying on the other side of the apartment while you are here in case you need anything, but you can do whatever you want, as long as you keep the apartment clean.

Other things to note

And yes, price is of course negotiable based on who you are and how well we get along. Write me and tell me about you!

Esteban's 100th review! Esteban didn't live there during my stay, so I really had the whole place to myself. The place is a located in a great location for the social scene in Cote des Neiges. It's right near the Cote des Neiges metro station as well. There was construction going on while I was there that was annoying, but that is common in Montreal. Esteban was very responsive and he tried pretty hard to be a good host. He is a very interesting person, so I highly recommend hanging out with and talking to him if you want to talk to interesting people. I stayed at 4 AirBnBs in Montreal, and this one was my favorite because of the location relative to UdeM and the interactions I had with Esteban. Would recommend

This location is awesome!! It's quiet and it's close to the metro station and a 10 -15 min ride to downtown Montreal. Also the location is surreunded by restaurants and coffee shops that you can walk to. The room is also big, clean with lots of natural lights. The price is good....this is a bargain. Esteban is definitely accommodating and flexible with his time and is there to assist you.

Response from Esteban:
Yes, we are getting the windows replaced on the 21st of this month. Looking forward to this! Sorry you couldn't open the windows while you were here; they were actually pretty difficult to open :(

I'm very easy to get along with. I'm the philosopher type, kind of always thinking about theories and stuff.

When I lived in Canada, I had 26 roommates! and sometimes, we were even 4 people living in a one-bedroom apartment. Every single one of those experiences was great! I met one of my best friends that way, and I've learnt so much about other peoples and cultures. In fact, I've learnt a lot about myself too...

I'm interested in languages, poetry, writing, philosophy, and salsa dancing! I also think that life is probably not meant to be taken not so seriously because, after all, we already know how everything is going to end… No? So, enjoy life while you can!

José Saramago is my favorite writer. My favorite book is "La muerte de Artemio Cruz", by Mexican writer Carlos Fuentes.

I enjoy hanging out with all sorts of people except the kind of people that seem to think they know exactly who they are. I'm a software developer and I teach Spanish, English, Mathematics, and used to teach Salsa Dancing, but I'm very bad now.

I like the sort of 'extreme' traveling, sleeping in parks, trains, train stations, etc… I've visited several cities around the world, being Oslo the most shocking one (That was the first time I traveled abroad)...
