Everything was nice in the house. With 6 persons completed. There are 4 beds + 2 additional guest beds you can use - our 2 kiddies slept well on them. Nina introduced us well in everything.

We really enjoyed the house. It was very easy to find. It had everything we needed. My mother loved the heated floor in the bathroom. The setting was beautiful. The wifi was excellent. It was very easy to communicate with Roland and Nina.

Had a lovely stay, it is a nice cozy guesthouse, walking distance from town. The hosts were very accommodating when we were late to arrive and check in, and even set a fire in the fireplace up for us to light when we arrived that evening. We would definitely recommend, just know that you need to pay extra for linens (sheets/pillowcases), or bring your own.

My husband and I were immediately attracted to this farmhouse when we saw it on the web. It has a charm that only older places boast, and looked absolutely fabulous. When we arrived, we were thrilled at the situation of the house, and the feel of history that the place exudes. The old, wavy glass, the Though we did not meet them in person, the owners, Rolle and Nina were very friendly and responsive, immediately booking the place and writing to us when we contacted them. Unfortunately, several of the amenities we paid for and naturally expected to receive, were not available to us, and this greatly affected our stay, which we cut short and for which we requested a refund. ~ No internet (crucial to us, for work and trip planning) ~ No Apple TV, and fewer than 10 channels on basic TV ~ No sheets that properly fit the king bed ~ No warning prior to renting, about the electricity outage on our second day there ~ NO indication at all that there would be NO WATER, either. The details: When we arrived to the place, we found that it is indeed charming, though in dire need of some basic “TLC” — some paint here, some provisions there. The paint is old and competely chipped in many places. The bathroom door is missing the frame, and insulation peeks from the open cracks. The shower unit is very old, rusted, and dirty-feeling. There were no napkins or paper towels in the kitchen, and the lovely cast-iron paper towel holder there had a roll of toilet paper on it. The bathroom did not have extra toilet paper, so this "kitchen roll" was used. We heavily depend on internet connection, for business, work, and for preparing our continued travels while in Sweden. One of our requirements for renting a place was that it have internet. Other, even more beautiful places to stay, were overlooked for the lack of it. We were compelled to spend time figuring out how to acquire web-connection. We found an internet café in town for computer use. Being very jet-lagged, we decided to take a nap. When we looked in the linen closet, there were many nice sets of duvet covers and sheets, none of them fitting the king-sized bed (we unfolded some 10-12 sheets and had to re-fold them on seeing that they were not the correct size). We finally decided to call the owners. Rolle (again, very nice) told us,”Oh, what you do is use two smaller sheets on the king bed. That’s how we do it in Sweden.” I have been here many times, and have never seen this. As a matter of fact, the place we are currently in has a king bed, which is made with the proper sheets. We resorted to the extra bedroom, a very small place with two very old, paint-chipped single beds, separated by a small nightstand. At least the sheets fit the small bed size. Those beds...

We had a wonderful stay at this house. In the middle of beautiful fields, the house is the ideal place for relaxing and enjoying some calm days. The house offers everything one might need. Rolle and Nina are great hosts and they try to do everything to make your stay an enjoyable one. They even let us visit their horses, which was a great experience! All in all, really recommendable! :)

Vi är ett gift par, heltidsarbetande som utöver det även driver vårt lilla lantbruk där vi producerar hö och hästar. Vi har bott 27 år på Österlen och kan tipsa om smultronställen, som är många häromkring.
