This quiet and comfortable townhouse, with a home-from-home feel, is ideally located for the beach, golfing, art & culture, and family-friendly activities (all just short drives away). A 15-minute stroll brings you to the charming village of Benalmádena Pueblo, with banks, pharmacy, post office, bars, restaurants, grocers... Good public transport for the airport, Málaga, Fuengirola, and Torremolinos. Aircon throughout. Price includes WiFi, cleaning, meet n greet, and satellite TV.

The space

This is not a 'lock-up-and-leave' holiday-let situated within a development of other holiday-lets in a soul-less complex. Instead, it offers a home-from-home feel, within a secure, gated community of Spanish families and mainly-European retirees. As such, it is a tranquil and relaxing destination, but one which benefits from being just a short stroll from the nearby charming Pueblo (a 15-minute walk). And, despite its peaceful location, it is very well-connected for beaches; golfing; hiking trails; family-friendly attractions; the museums, art galleries, and historic sights in Málaga; and tapas bars, restaurants, chiringuitos and nightlife. On site, there are two pools to relax beside (and to help keep children occupied).

Guest access

As a guest, you have access to the entire townhouse, the Tio Charles complex, and the two pools.

Interaction with guests

We have an agent in Spain who can, if needed, meet and greet you and is available to deal with your queries. Upon confirmation of your booking, you will receive details of how to contact our agent, as well as important information regarding the Tio Charles community, and the surrounding area. Our property is fully legal as it complies with Andalusian tourist regulations. In accordance with those regulations we will ask you to complete a short registration form and provide copies of passports for all travellers over the age of 16. We also have a short standard rental agreement.

Other things to note

There is ample free parking available outside of the complex. Dedicated parking inside the complex can sometimes be arranged direct with our agent - subject to availability and a small fee (usually EUR 10-15 per week).

David & Jane User Profile

Hi - This charming property is owned by David, a university lecturer, and Jane, a solicitor (that's her in the photo). Both of us are much more interested in the less 'touristy' side to travelling. We enjoy exploring local cuisine and wine (whether that's at a roadside food stand, a market stall, or a chic restaurant), and finding out about local history, culture and traditions. At the same time, we love long lazy days at the beach, or by the pool, followed by cocktails at sundown. We speak some French and some Spanish (we're always taking more lessons!), have eclectic tastes in music, and art and architecture are of particular interest to us.
