The space

A beautiful front-facing basement room with stripped pine flooring and backing on to a private secluded garden. Completely modernised for rental. New kitchen and bathroom, new gas central heating. Unlimited wifi included as are some bills. Contribution to electricity. So handy for the international station and the town centre.

Guest access

Front and back entrances, hallway, kitchen, bathroom, your room. One other professional tenant shares these areas and has own room.

Interaction with guests

A property manager is available for any issues. I occasionally stay in a separate property upstairs when working in London but otherwise work onsite or from my home in Ireland. If you want to stay longer a long-term let is coming up soon.

I love travel: I think it's so important to pass on that gift to kids too.

I train software development in the City of London. Clients include top civil service and fintech companies, and nothing pleases me more than to escape back to Donegal, the mountains and the beaches.

The house can be rented during the summer hols, when we get away ourselves. We tried it once and it was a runaway success, and now we are delighted to offer it again. It's set on half an acre with mountain and sea views, conventional plus solar heating, a poly tunnel, and unlimited WiFi - like home, because it is!
