Other things to note

Rialto is a small area with its own local amenities located 2.5 km away from the city centre in the southwest of Dublin.

It is about half an hour walk to the city centre so we advise you to take public transport.

Rialto is well served by public transport (which is great for Dublin as this city doesn't have good public transport communications everywhere).

The tramway (Luas) is 3 min walk from home which brings you to the north part of Dublin's city centre. Also, you are 2 min walk away from a bus stop that brings you to the south part of Dublin (Portobello, Camden street, Trinity college, Temple bar) or walk 5 min to the next bus stop that can bring you to St Patricks Cathedral or Christ Church.

7 min walk away, you will find a Dublin bike station that is great to use on a sunny day to visit phoenix park, Kilmainham Gaol, Irish Museum of Modern Art and the city.

The Guinness storehouse is 10 min walk from our house, Kilmainham Gaol, Irish Museum of Modern Art 20 min walk, Pheonix Park 30 min walk from home, Temple bar 30 min walk from home, Trinity college 35 min walk from home.

Stefi and Laurent gave us an extensive list of advice for a week end in Dublin which was very useful! That allowed us to see places we probably would not have gone to otherwise. The apartment is located out of the centre but public transport is quite convenient and it is only 30 min walk or 8€ taxi so definitely easy to get to after tram hours. There is a full access and liberty to come and go at any hour even though courtesy and the fact that the room is not en suite means taking care of not waking our hosts up. We enjoyed the stay, thank you both!

We had a nice time at Stefi and Laurent's home! They were very nice, easy to communicate with, and accommodating to our late check in. Very close to 2 LUAS stops, which made it easy to get to the center of the Dublin.

Everything was good, location was great, Stefi and Laurent were very nice. The only thing we didn't like were the works which started next door everyday morning (although at 9:00 am, so not that bad), but that happens everywhere so no biggie :)

Location isn't the best for walking but not far from public transport to city centre so it's easy getting to and from there. Great little room, was cosy and homely. Bed was comfy.

The room was very comfortable and covered all our basic needs. The size was OK for two people with light luggage. The location was pretty good, the city centre could be reached by foot in 30 min and we had a LUAS stop and some buses at a 3min-walk. Stefi and Laurent offered us coffee and tea, which was a nice gesture, and were kind and helpful to us. I totally recommend their home for a short stay in Dublin.

Great location in dublin - Easily accessible via the LUAS. I felt very comfortable and welcomed in the airbnb. Room was very clean, although a bit smaller than expected. Would recommend!
