Other things to note

The Farmhouse is located in the middle of Morris Orchard, a working family farm for 8 generations. We grow Apples, Peaches, Pick your own Blue and Blackberries, and Pumpkins. There are goats, donkeys and rabbits nearby that the kids can feed. Ask about fishing in the pond.

We want you to enjoy your stay safely, there are some areas of the farm which access is not permitted due to rough terrain, or work being done at the time.

If you are looking for a great place to stay, stop looking now and book before someone else grabs the dates that you are looking for! Excellent amenities with so many extras. To be honest, the pictures didn't do the beauty enough justice. The home is beautiful inside and out and we didn't want to leave. Our only complaint...the furniture in the living room is WAY TOO COMFORTABLE!!! You're trying to sit up at night and chat and the furniture just lulls you to! Seriously, the furniture is really great! When we make a trip that way again, we will be sure to grab this house before you do-

You'll be staying in an old farmhouse on the outskirts of a working orchard, with a great farm stand. You can pick a few apples or stroll along the pumpkin patch. The host was responsive when we had a couple minor requests, since they're in one of the other buildings down the road. You are on a gravel road at a working farm- so you'll get some weekend traffic & agri-equipment going by- it's rural. The amazing views of the rolling hills were worth it. We stocked up at a country store a couple miles away, ran on the hilly roads-- but didn't make it to the winery & distillery 15 mins away!

It's a great place. The porch is great, there's a great view and you can head over to any of the breweries, cideries or distilleries within 50 miles for a nice afternoon trip.

Wil's place was wonderful and perfect for family to stay for our wedding weekend. It's a great location to be close to Lynchburg but still in a gorgeous area of Amherst county.

Hi, I'm Wil. I work along with my parents on our family farm raising apples, peaches, berries and cattle. In 2006 we decided to share a little bit of our farm by renting out The Orchard Farmhouse. We quickly realized that our guests truly enjoyed getting away on the farm, and we enjoy the opportunity to meet new people. We hope that everyone who visits takes home lasting memories.
