We really enjoyed our stay at Rita's flat and in Porto as well! The apartment is cosy, well outfitted, with a beautiful view on the Douro and Porto. Rita is a nice and attentive hostess who wished to make our stay the best. One thing to know however is the location of the apartment, Vila Nova de Gaia, not a Porto's district but a different city, indeed just on the other side of the Douro, but the nearest pedestrian bridge is about 20 to 30 minutes walking, 5 minutes for crossing, and then you are in Porto. In the evening, after a all walking day in the hilly city of Porto the return seems long! Fortunately Uber exists, is efficient in Porto and is cheaper than in France!

Response from Rita:
Thank you so much for your comment Blandine. I will make sure to clarify in future some distances. Apart from that, only a small correction, Gaia is indeed a Porto district. Although it is a city it is part of Porto and is the part of the historical area as well. I also enjoyed pretty much to have you and your family and friends who were incredible nice, polite and friendly. Please be sure to be welcome at any time and I am sure any other hosts would be lucky to receive you anywhere.
