My accommodation is good for solo travelers or couples. The apartment is located El Barrio de las Letras'. The Barrio de las Letras is a central neighborhood of the city of Madrid in which some of the great literary men of Spain have lived and written. Today is an area that combines literature, bohemia, fun, shopping and fine cuisine. The neighborhood is formed by small streets, pedestrian or restricted access to vehicles, and pleasant squares such as Santa Ana. In them, it is easy to find houses in which they lived and wrote such important figures of the literature of the Golden Age of Spain Like Lope de Vega, Quevedo, Góngora or Cervantes. Also, on the pavement of various streets are inscriptions and small texts of the work of some of them. Another of the charms of the "Barrio de las Letras" is its wide range of shops, ranging from the most traditional establishments with centuries of history (such as cobblers, silversmiths or lutieres) to modern and avant-garde spaces. Similarly, the area is full of restaurants and terraces in which to enjoy the gastronomy of Madrid and the popular "go de tapas" of Spain. Finally, the location of the neighborhood is unbeatable to know the culture of Madrid, as it houses the CaixaForum and in the vicinity are the National Museum of the Prado and the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum, as well as monumental areas such as Puerta del Sol or Main Square.

Margarita's place is great!! Perfectly located in the city. Walkable to almost every major site. Plenty of restaurants, bars, clubs and parks in her neighborhood. She also took the time to leave a guide book of all the things you could and would want to do in Madrid. I'd definitely would stay there again.

A bijou and well appointed apartment close to good restaurants and bars. The Brown Bear Bakery just round the corner is good for breakfast patisserie and coffee. I would definitely stay here again. Top accommodation.

The appartment is on a very good location. Lot's of nice shops and bars around and walking distance to all the things you want to see in Madrid. It is very noisy, but has everything you need.

This cute little apartment was exactly as advertised. It was right in the midst of restaurants and tapas bars, easy access to the metro and walking distance to much of what makes Madrid so special. Prior to our arrival, Margarita was prompt with her communication with me. We did not get to meet her but her assistant, Lara, was invaluable. Thank you!
