The TV in the main living Room must be unplugged and plugged back in, to be turned on. Just a strange glitch, but it works great after that!
Bring extra towels if you plan to swim or boat, and life jackets, sunscreen, hats, etc if you visit during the warmer months.
You may want to bring bug spray during the summer and Fall months, as an extra precaution. We don't have lots of mosquitoes on the point because it is breezy, but if you hike in the area, or just want to be on safe side, good to have it!
Bring flashlights if you expect to be outside at night, as no lights from dock to house!
We live on the lake full time and enjoy waterskiing, boating, canoeing, kayaking, yoga, cycling, walking, and eating! Sunset cruises are a favorite activity with friends, even in winter months. I teach yoga and meditation nearby, and hold women's retreats around the lake, with various themes..spa, nature, with native american ceremony influences. Wally is a local realtor, and loves to cycle rural routes all around the county. He cycled the entire West Coast several years ago. We enjoy traveling but finally settled on this lake because it feels like a vacation year round, close enough to go to Atlanta for museums and culture within an hour, yet rural enough to enjoy nature and a star filled sky without city lights and noise. We love plants and are both Master gardeners, in awe of the changes within each season, and enjoy our two dogs immensely!
