Great cabin in a central location in Girdwood. The host was very responsive and offered a flexible check-in time. We had five kids with us ranging from 7 to 15. All really enjoyed the amenities of the cabin (games, movies, hot tub, etc.). Overall, a great stay and we would definitely return again.
Great place, great hospitality. This was an excellent get-away house, especially for our kids. Very comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen with all the amenities. This was our first airbnb experience and were previously used to fairly modestly equipped rental cabins. We were taken aback at how well stocked the house was. Our family found it well situated to get to parks and tourist attractions as well as a comfortable place to just hang out.
The Johnson cabin is comfortable and cozy and well kept. Greg is a very responsive host. He always answered quickly when I had a question. The cabin was generously stocked with food and other kitchen supplies. There were games and cds and even a computer. Beds were very comfortable but bedrooms were somewhat tight. My grandson loved the hot tub. We were 6 adults and a child so the extra half bath made a big difference. The house is walking distance to the small town and to the chairlifts. We spent a week there and very much enjoyed the house and our Alaskan adventures.
The Johnson cabin was perfect. Greg was super flexible about scheduling changes at the outset. The cabin was everything we wanted as a family of five. Rooms are tight and cozy, beds are quite comfortable. Blinds in the room did a nice job of keeping them dark through the summer nights which, as I found out are never actually dark. There may be more movies on DVDs in that cabin than we used to find at Blockbuster so evening entertainment was a cinch. Everything needed to cook and feed the family was available. Oh and the hot tub was a wonderful evening soak. So many wonderful adventures in and around Girdwood, the Johnson cabin was the perfect homebase. Many thanks to the Johnson family for wonderful family memories.
