The space

Despite it's relatively small size, this studio has a bright and airy feel that makes you feel right at home. Unlike many studios this size, this one has a proper kitchen with gas stove, full length fridge and dishwasher. The balcony offers a lovely view of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, with fold-up table and chairs to enjoy your morning coffee/tea.

Guest access

Guests have access to the entire apartment with full kitchen facilities and balcony.

Interaction with guests

I am contactable by email or phone for any assistance, and of course very happy to impart my local knowledge of the best places to eat, drink and see!

Other things to note

Prospective guests should note that this space is actually my home and very much lived in - I stay elsewhere during guests' stays. Because of this I can only offer limited space in terms of drawer and closet space for clothes. I will endeavour to provide adequate space and maximum comfort and convenience for all my guests and ask only that you respect my belongings in return, particularly if I have a costume I'm working on!

The road outside my apartment can get a little busy during peak periods such as the morning and evening commute... but generally calms right down after those 2 hour slots. If you are particularly sensitive to noise, this is something you should consider when staying at mine.

Summertime guests: Sydney weather gets pretty hot, and since my apartment doesn't have air-conditioning it can get a little warm particularly in the afternoon. All guests will be equipped with a fan and top tips for staying cool ;)

Tall guests: if you are vertically significant (in the 6ft realm) , my bed might be a bit of a squeeze. For couples I recommend putting the taller person on the pulled-out section of the bed where at least there's no frame hindering the feet! ;)

Millie was a lovely host, super friendly and great at communicating in the lead up to our stay. The studio is really cute, compact and well designed with some nice touches - coffee machine, emergency toiletries. A great stay, thanks!

Fab stay, Millie was so helpful as our plans had changed due to work and flight cancellations but she helped us immensely and was no issues. Absolutely love the location and view wished we could have booked for longer! Perfect home away from home so cosy and homely! Thank you so much for sharing your home enabling us to book it and making our 1st week moving to Sydney so nice!

Millie's place is a nice small studio, perfect for 1 person or a couple. It is in a nice neighbourhood, and very well communicated. The apartment was tidy and clean, with spare drawers and part of the closet, so you feel like home. The desk gives an extra space, very useful if you are staying for work. I will definitely stay again here next time I need a place in Sydney.

This has to be one of the best locations I've been to around Sydney. My partner and I enjoyed the place very much and everything was so convenient for us, especially going out. Her place was well equipped and very clean. Would recommend!

Awesome! Location within about 5 minutes of the train station. Nice neighborhood...felt like I was "coming home" every evening as I walked from the station. Apartment has everything you need and a great view of the Harbor Bridge from the balcony. Thanks Millie!

Yes, the view is everything you see in that photo, it is not faked, and yes it is to die for. Millie's studio is in a wonderful location, both convenient to shops, restaurants and public transport, yet stylish and glamorous. Both Kirribili/Milsons Point and North Sydney are 10 minute walks away. Her studio apartment is in a fabulous mid-century modern complex and she has arranged and furnished very much in period style with a few quirky popular culture and present day tweaks. It is a light-filled and generous space especially for the solo traveller. Whilst it is in a very busy district, there was not too much traffic disturbance and I could sleep well and comfortably. Millie was also a thoughtful and generous host, who has excellent clear communication, has worked out simple and efficient processes for check-in and has second guessed the needs of travellers, and catered to them. One felt like a welcomed guest not a paying customer. Thank you and good luck to the talented and creative Millie

Hey there! I am 28 years old, work in cinema and am an unabashed appreciator of all things nerdy. I am an avid movie buff, live for music of all types and design and sew my own costumes.

As a well-seasoned traveler, I hope to provide the kind of experience that I would expect and appreciate as a guest. Should you make a booking, you can expect a pleasant, no-fuss stay with maximum convenience. And of course a very warm welcome from yours truly! ^_^
