Interaction with guests
I am contactable by email or phone for any assistance, and of course very happy to impart my local knowledge of the best places to eat, drink and see!
Other things to note
Prospective guests should note that this space is actually my home and very much lived in - I stay elsewhere during guests' stays. Because of this I can only offer limited space in terms of drawer and closet space for clothes. I will endeavour to provide adequate space and maximum comfort and convenience for all my guests and ask only that you respect my belongings in return, particularly if I have a costume I'm working on!
The road outside my apartment can get a little busy during peak periods such as the morning and evening commute... but generally calms right down after those 2 hour slots. If you are particularly sensitive to noise, this is something you should consider when staying at mine.
Summertime guests: Sydney weather gets pretty hot, and since my apartment doesn't have air-conditioning it can get a little warm particularly in the afternoon. All guests will be equipped with a fan and top tips for staying cool ;)
Tall guests: if you are vertically significant (in the 6ft realm) , my bed might be a bit of a squeeze. For couples I recommend putting the taller person on the pulled-out section of the bed where at least there's no frame hindering the feet! ;)
Very important: PLEASE DO NOT STAND ON THE PULL-OUT SIDE OF THE BED, it's really not designed to take any pressure aside from sleeping horizontally, so please take care.
Please use coasters for glasses
Be gentle on the porcelain
The towels provided are for bathroom use only - please don't take them to the beach; I've lost a few towels to sunscreen stains >_<
Be mindful this is my home, so please be respectful of my belongings :)
The only people who should be residing in my apartment are those listed as my guests on Airbnb - if you intend on having visitors please do me the courtesy of clearing it with me first.
Hey there! I am 28 years old, work in cinema and am an unabashed appreciator of all things nerdy. I am an avid movie buff, live for music of all types and design and sew my own costumes.
As a well-seasoned traveler, I hope to provide the kind of experience that I would expect and appreciate as a guest. Should you make a booking, you can expect a pleasant, no-fuss stay with maximum convenience. And of course a very warm welcome from yours truly! ^_^
