A lovely location with stunning views, very cosy and provided enough space for our party of a couple and two singletons. The welcome pack of bacon, eggs, milk, bread etc was greatly appreciated. We were gliding at the nearby Borders club and it was perfectly located just a mile away. Clive Groves

Had a great stay. Excellent location for seeing the different parts of Northumberland from the hills to the coast. Breakfast for the first day and a bottle of wine was left for us which was very kind. We loved the fireplace (already prepared when we arrived). Great to wake up to the sun in the morning and to listen to the birds. Hope to come back sometime soon!

Jane's cottage was lovely! Great view of horses and sheep from the dining table. The kitchen was wonderfully stocked with all the necessary crockery and condiments and even some supplies for breakfast! However, the bathroom essentials was vastly different. While it is crossed out in the amenities provided, for future guests, should take note that there is no towels, no toiletries, no hairdryer provided. Also, the water pressure of the showerhead was very low which made bathing longer than necessary. Which is funny because the water pressure from the taps was sufficiently strong!

We loved sitting watching the house martins flitting and swooping outside and the hares darting in and out of the hedgerows. And spectacular views! Enjoy the wonderful location of this cottage!

A rural retreat close enough for trips to Bamburgh and Alnwick. We had cold weather so had the chance to light the fire. The milk, eggs and croissants were also lovely touch

The cottage was as described, it was all well maintained, clean and in working order, I would have no hesitation in recommending it to future visitors

This is a lovely cottage with stunning views front and back. We found it spotlessly clean and well equipped. The beds were very comfy. We found it a little cold, even in July (we couldn't bring ourselves to light a fire in the summer!), but switching on the storage heaters quickly heated the house up. The children enjoyed the back garden, watching the horses in the field over the wall. The cottage is in a great location for exploring the coast and Holy Island; Cragside is also a great day out and less than 40 minutes away.
