To put it simply - I love Becky's stunning paradise villa in the Thai countryside! I'd stay here for months if I could. The large pond in the backyard is incredibly beautiful, with the rice fields and mountains that stretch beyond it. It's the perfect place for tropical peace and relaxation. I could easily sit and be quite content just to watch the every-changing, colorful cloud formations shifting. It's a spectacular view, especially with the rainstorms and rainbows that develop as they pass through the area. If I was a painter it's be my focus for many days. I am a bit of a photographer, so I got some exquisite photos. The saltwater swimming pool is refreshing and fun to float and luxuriate in....I felt like I was blessed to spend some quality time here. The inside of the house itself is mostly made of rich brown teak wood, which somehow makes one feel at peace. The grounds are lovely with all the tropical bushes, banana, mango and palm tress. I understand they plan to put in many more fruit trees and a vegetable garden soon, so more fresh, organic produce will be grown right there. The staff were very kind, upbeat, respectful and helpful serving excellent fresh juices, fruits and snacks. The dinner I had with a few friends who came by to join me was delicious! They have an onsite massage table, so one of my friends who stays close by gave me a great massage. I slept so good with the symphony and choir of night time insects and birds sifting through my dreams. I started the next morning with yoga, qigong and meditation on the back patio as the sun rose over the forested hills. It such an amazing place to spend even one night! I didn't want to leave, but duties called me elsewhere. Next time I'll stay longer. I highly recommend anyone who wants an experience like mine to book some time here at Becky's Paradise Villa. You'll love it too!

This place is very much off the beaten path. The villa is away from the hustle and the bustle of the city (40 minute from the airport without traffic), in a quiet village, “Doi Saket District,” near Tao Garden Spa and Resort and on the way to the Mae Kuang Dam. The villa is on a private drive in a gated compound. Once I walked in and saw how beautiful it was, I was fine if I stay majority of my time at the property to work on my design project with day excursions into the city. The wifi was pretty good, enabling me to send big graphic files. The staff indulged me at my request with clean, healthy food including detox juices and periodic local delicacies. I stayed in the bedroom with its full bath in the main building with the kitchen, living and dinning area. My window overlooked green tropical plants. I was awakened by various bird noises as though I was in a tropical jungle. The room and the property were spacious and luxurious. I loved looking out the lake from the porch, dipping in the salt water pool under the moon light, and appreciating exotic plants and creatures. I now know what geckos sound like! Definitly recommend using their private airport pick up rather than risking getting lost in a taxi. Also, I recommend walking to the Tao Garden to checkout their campus and programs and taking their free bicycle to the Mae Kuang Dam and hike up to the top see the view and to break out some sweat. There are great small noodle shops on the street. You’ll see some foreigners staying at the Tao Garden walking or biking. They are great resources to exchange travel tips. Rebecca’s staff is pretty accommodating and flexible, so ask if you have any special requests. Highly recommended!
