I am a great host, very clean and tidy, and will work hard to make you feel welcome.
The #1 reason why I travel: Meeting new people. I have met some of my best friends abroad!
Favorite meal: Buff Chili, Patan, Kathmandu, Nepal. To reach this magical little restaurant, I was guided through the labyrinthine alleys, lanes, walkways and paths of Patan with my friend and guide. We arrived at a small hole in the wall restaurant with no name and swiftly grabbed the only seats available: a couple of soft cushions on the floor behind a small table up against the wall. There were a dozen of us lining the walls of this tiny establishment, which was no more than a kitchen with barely enough room for a few patrons. We were treated to an array of local delicacies by a lone chef who sat on the floor cross-legged, a few feet away, behind a large wok on a small fire - every ingredient within arms reach. I'm not sure I could ever return this place, other than in my dreams.
