It is located in the older part of the city. You got to see what GZ was previously. Not a tourist crowded location too.
2) The host
He is a very friendly and approachable guy. The same day after I booked his place, he took the initiative to contact me, asking me for any pre-arrival arrrangement requirement. I was very late in coming into his place and appreciate much on his patient. I had a very last minute need of having a MPV driver the next day, he took the effort to arrange for me, a big thumb up for him.
It is a newly renovated old house. There is a long term tenant in the basement (a different door), and this place is at 1st and 2nd floor. If you having heavy luggage, be prepared to lift up to 1st or 2nd floor via narrow staircase. One comfortable room for 2 at 1st floor, and another bigger one for 4 adult at 2nd floor. The beds and comforter is super good, I would say near to a 3-4star hotel bed standard. 2 bathroom, and only one equip with hot shower facility. The host is very thoughtful on many many little items, i.e. emergency kits, umbrella, coffee/tea, sewing kits, new tower, new toothbrush, etc.
4) The neighborhood
the people surrounding is the local. If you want to live like local and mix around, you should give this a try. The 2 local traditional convenient stores few steps away very friendly. We all felt welcome and very warm.
