My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families (with kids), big groups, and furry friends (pets).
The house is over 200 years old, built of solid Welsh stone and deceptively large. It is located on a quiet street with a small car park at the front and Fishguard Bay at the back. From the back gate to the sea is a distance of about 20 feet and at very high tides, it’s a lot closer!
The house is upside down, with three bedrooms and family bathroom downstairs and the main living space and a further bedroom upstairs. It can easily accommodate two families with two kids each but is equally good for a romantic weekend for two.
The house is a very special place. If you have a busy life and need to relax, there is nothing better than relaxing with a glass of wine on the balcony while you watch the boats bob about on the harbour and the kids crabbing off the quayside just a few yards away.
The house is next to a public car park so there is plenty of parking and its all free. We will send you details of keys etc. the week before your stay.
Interaction with guests
Please feel free to contact me on (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) if you experience any issues during your stay. I do not live near Fishguard but there is a caretaker available to fix anything or help you with anything you might need.
Other things to note
We’ve tried to make the house an easy place to stay with all the comforts of home. You’ll find most things you’d expect in a holiday home plus a few that perhaps you wouldn’t; including wireless internet and kayaks. The house is very will kitted out with bed linen, towels, hairdryer, ironing board, highchair and cot. The kitchen is well equipped with enough crockery and cutlery to cater for 8+ guests.
From Jul 21 - Aug 31, 2018 the minimum stay is 7 nights.
