Our old family stone house was renovated in 2016 and offers true traditional experience of Montenegrin village. You’ll love my place because of the location - the house is situated in beautiful hill overlooking the bay of Boka, Tivat and Herceg Novi, while city center Kotor and Tivat are just 10 min drive. My place is convenient for couples, solo adventurers, families with kids and it is perfect for nature lovers.
This space is unique because you will feel the vibes of traditional village and its residents. Space is decorated by hand made furniture and paintings of my father, who has his atelier just above the traditional house, where you can see his work and even buy some pieces if you want. House doesn't offer luxury, but is equipped with essential things that are necessary for pleasant stay. Therefore, you will experience true atmosphere of household which is Eco & Art friendly.
You will enjoy magnificent view relaxing on our upper terrace - it is not part of traditional house we rent, but we usually invite our guest to have home made rakija or coffee there. Besides that, if you are active type, nature lover and into hiking, beautiful paths are just next to the house which lead either to woods, either through village. We also have big garden with various herbs, so feel free to ask for fresh rosemary, parsley, zucchini..or any other product that may grow in our bio garden.
Interaction with guests
I am available 24/7, as well as my parents, who do not speak any foreign language, except the language of pure hospitality which is the same all over the world :) We are on disposal to help and to answer to any of your question.
Other things to note
In order to greet our guests in proper Montenegrin way, we always have a small treat for them on our terrace (traditional drink, snacks, fruit or coffee). Also, I usually leave basic ingredients in the house, so that guest can have coffee, tea or breakfast (milk, cereals, jam, toast bread etc.) upon arrival.
- the water in our house is potable, since it comes from natural mountain spring.
- there is small mini market in village where you can buy groceries.
If any of the guest would like to try traditional Montenegrin food, feel free to send me inquiry and we may arrange Traditional Buffet, as per your request.
Pets are allowed on the balcony outside of the house.
I am outgoing person, who enjoys meeting and interacting with people from other countries. I was born in Montenegro, studied and lived in Belgrade (Serbia) and in Thessaloniki (Greece), so multiculturalism is definitely my field of interest.
I work in hospitality business, as PA in managing company of luxury 5 star hotel resort in Sveti Stefan, Montenegro, and I am also translator of Greek language. Even though I am passionate traveler and keen on exploring other countries and cultures, I am quite attached to the place where I was born, small village Naljezici, so I decided to share the atmosphere of that charming place with all visitors who love nature, traditional architecture and art. My father is painter and there are many paintings and other pieces of art on our property.
Happy to be a host to all visitors who share similar interests.
