A gorgeous place, just a short walk to the Malecon and the Bay of La Paz with a number of good reasonably priced restaurants close by. Our host Carol was very accommodating and has stocked the studio apartment with just about anything you might need. Any small request was promptly dealt with, including supplying a drying rack for our wet bathings suits. In the kitchen there is a variety of small appliances (coffee maker, kettle, hot plate, microwave etc), a large fridge, along with condiments, butter, cooking oil and seasonings. The bathroom has lots of counter & shelf space for your personal items along with plush towels, facecloths, beach towels, shampoo & kleenex. The bed was comfortable, the room well lit, and the A/C was wonderful on the hot days we had while there. The common courtyard just outside the door to this room was a nice shady respite with many plants, birds that visit, along with the residence cat Kiki. Carol is quite congenial and will sit and chat should you desire.

Response from Carol:
Thank you for your kind and wonderful review. I've taken note of the need for additional space for hanging towels. The one for the kitchen has been "on the list" since the recent model. We finished hanging the cabinets and putting things into them yesterday afternoon. Now for the final touches such as a dish drainer, a couple of drawers, and a rack for the towel. It was a pleasure hosting you!

Following a successful career in Human Resources Management, and after spending weeks at a time in La Paz on business, I retired and moved to this beautiful city on the Sea of Cortes where I now own and operate Casa Tuscany Bed & Breakfast Inn.

When I am not entertaining guests, I travel to world destinations as often as possible. I just returned from Peru and Ecuador. In addition to travel, I love to read, cook gourmet meals, drink good wine, and play bridge.

A positive attitude will get you through almost anything. "Don't be sad that it is over. Be happy that it happened."
