Really nice apartment in great location in Uzes. Parking very close by (which can be an issue in Uzes). Lovely living area and decks. All facilities as promised. Great facilities for self-catering if you want to do that. Fantastic kitchen/dining area and even better lounge with deck off the lounge. 1st set of steps going to apartment quite steep but not so long as to be an issue. We were in Uzes when it was very hot (35-38 C) and the lack of air conditioning meant sleeping was quite warm, but during the day the apartment was reasonably cool. Fans were provided in all the rooms and they helped a lot at night. Overall a really good place to stay and we would return here if going back to Uzes.

Uzes is absolutely stunning. Every day we were enchanted by the beauty of the architecture of the buildings and the Place aux Herbes is one of the prettiest squares we have ever seen. We had an outstanding stay in the very attractive and comfortable apartment provided by Pierre and Philippe. The apartment has a very "French" feel about it and as each day went by we felt as though we were part of the local community! The restaurants, the Cooking Schools, the markets and most importantly, the people were all part of the reasons we enjoyed our stay here. We would highly recommend this perfect little apartment in Uzes providing the weather is not very hot! Marzana met us on our arrival and was extremely welcoming and very helpful throughout our two week stay. We would have a word of caution with regard to contemplating booking during the very hot weather periods. Our first five days were very hot with temperatures in the mid thirties and we found the bedrooms which are are both on the top floor got too hot as they are under the roof with no outside solid shutters and had ineffective Venetian blinds on the inside. Our suggestion would be that exterior wooden shutters would help enormously. Another problem that we found which did not help during those five very hot days was the excessive heat in the bathroom caused by a large skylight that allows direct sun into it and therefore excarbates the problem as it becomes unbearably hot! It needs a blind to keep out the sun. Luckily for us, the temperatures dropped after the first five days and we had a wonderful time there. Had they had not dropped, we doubt if we would have been able to stay. We would love to return tonUzes in the months of May or June and we would definitely choose this apartment! Thank you Pierre and Philippe and Marzana! Best Regards Maureen & Terry

A charming 2 level apartment in the heart of wonderful Uzes, filled with antiques and bric a brac. Photos are accurate, depicting the steep internal stairs and bathroom with hand held shower. The beds in the 2nd bedroom are uncomfortable but the terrace off this room makes up for this and also the lack of storage in this room. We loved our stay here and thank the hosts for their hospitality.

Uzes is a jewel of a town and was a wonderful base for us to explore Arles, Nimes, the Pont du Gard, Saint Remy, Les Baux, and the Camargue. Pierre's home is exquisite -- comfortable, clean, quiet, spacious, tastefully decorated with wonderful attention to detail, with a fully equipped kitchen and nice, big windows for catching gentle breezes and looking out onto the quiet street in front or the beautiful garden in the back. It allows Americans like us -- used to minimalist, modern architecture -- to indulge in the fantasy of living French village life in a luxe setting. Pierre was gracious, easy to communicate with, and quick to respond to my questions. Marzena was very helpful, responsive, and efficient.
