Susan was out of town on our arrival date but gave us great instructions ahead of time. Having stayed here before, we were already familiar with her home and she had everything in place for us. It was great catching up when she returned. Going to her place is more like visiting an old friend!

Susan opens her home to her visitors as she would her own family. A clean, quiet, well lit home, on a very aesthetic piece of land. Everything inside and out of the house seems to been have put there with a purpose which radiates a sense of comfort and comfortably amongst the dwelling. Susan is a very professional and a good communicator, able to provide information and recommendations upon request. We saw the stars perfectly at night atop a hill behind her home and heard wolves howl in the distance. What a lovely place to stay! Thanks again Susan!

We had an excellent stay here. Susan let us know her family would be gathering for their annual pickle canning, and we were welcome to participate. The house was beautiful and the setting was idyllic. We toured the grounds in the morning and were treated to spectacular views of the river. Great hosts with a lovely family!

River to Ridge Farmhouse is the perfect place to escape to for the weekend. The views from on top of the ridge looking down to the river are spectacular and you might hear or ever see a wild turkey! Our hosts were so harm and welcoming, it felt like we were staying with a favorite family member. Please stop by and visit Susan and Greg; you will cherish the memories!

I am a geologist and come from and have a big family. My husband and I are serial renovators, having restored or built 6 unique properties including waterfront, farmsteads, and historic mansions over the last 25 years. Locally, I am a guest chef. When I am not working you'll find me prospecting for books, bargains, fresh, locally-sourced food or planning the next outside adventure with family and friends.
