SomeDay House is located on 3 beautiful acres; 1 mile from downtown Boerne and 10 miles from several local wineries.

The space

Someday House is extremely spacious and convenient to, not only Boerne but Sisterdale, Comfort and Fredericksburg, Texas. Please see map to show how close we are to Interstate 10 which will also lead you straight to Kerville, Texas. We have a large picnic area along with a ping pong table, board games and tons of movies to select from if you just want to stay in for the evening. At this time we do not have internet so please bring your iPads if you need access to a computer. There are some places in town that you can use for Internet connection.

We have added a chicken coop this year. The girls are now laying eggs and are fed organically. If you would like some fresh eggs to either eat while you are here or take with you please send me an email. I will place them in the refrigerator...or you may gather while you are here if I am on the property.

We try to be as natural and organic as possible. For this reason we very seldom, if ever, use pesticides that are not natural.

Guest access

You will have access to the guest house and the fenced in area below the house which is shown in a photo online. It is the picnic area which has a table, chairs and a swing. The are also chairs and tables outside the guest house for early morning coffees or afternoon cocktails, etc. There will be a bottle of wine in the house upon your arrival for your use along with a snack. Enjoy!

The house is in a gated area and a code will be provided to you prior to arrival. A key to the home is located in a lockbox. You will be provided a gate opener for your use during your stay. If lost, these items cost $50 for gate opener and $80 for key as the house will have to be (URL HIDDEN) Keep in a safe place!

I am constantly on the move but will be available throughout your stay via text. I may be on the property if I am in town as I live in the main house.

Everything was great! Beautiful property just a few minutes from the Hill Country Mile in Downtown Boerne! We stayed for the weekend and had the best Saturday! We got up early to get breakfast at The Dienger then walked around the Farmers Market to do a little shopping. Around 11:00 we met our tour guide with Hill Country Food Tours. What an amazing experience...we got to walk around downtown and try the best restaurants. We were full and needing some relaxation, so we headed a few miles out of town to Boerne Lake to find a sunny spot. We relaxed then rented paddle boards from Hill Country Paddle Sports. The lake was amazing, but we were starting to get hungry again, so we headed to Random Beer Garden. It's on the same street as the lake and they has 80 beers on tap and 5 food trucks in the parking lot. I had sliders and they were....soooo good. After that long day, it was great to come back to the Someday House and go to bed! Oh, almost forgot Friday night. We brought our bikes, and rode around downtown to a few different places. After dinner we rode along the path next to Cibolo Creek - yeah, you should bring your bikes...

The SomeDay House was the perfect place for a weekend getaway to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. We loved how it was quiet yet close enough to drive to town each day. Boerne has great restaurants, cute shops and the nicest people! The house was perfectly comfortable, clean and inviting. The perfect place to curl up with a good book and a warm cup of tea! The grounds were beautiful and we loved seeing the chickens in the yard.

Dawn is a great host and communicates quickly and well. House is 2-3 minutes from Main Street and looks exactly like photos. Very comfortable. Some critters, but what you would might expect in hill country.
