By far the cleanest, most stress free Airbnb experience that I have ever had. Unbeatable location and great host!

Good Location; The local area is nice and safe, close to subway and is convenient for travelling around NYC. There are also many restaurants and supermarkets nearby. There are a good number of bathrooms, a large kitchen to cook in and store items, and a washer and dryer for use…

All other reviews are pretty accurate. The space itself is very clean and comfortable. The host does have a lot of rules that can be overbearing but it’s all for the safety and comfort of other guests, so it’s understandable. Perfect for a couple night stay.

The room is quite small but it's ok if you plan to use it only to sleep. There is a lot of rules but all seem to be reasonable.

A block or two away from some of the best restaurants in NYC, especially Japanese food!

It was definitely a very pleasant experience. The host was so nice, and the place was safe and clean. I’d definitely book again.

Tom’s place is in a great location in East Village. Nami and Ann greeted us and were super friendly. Ann was so sweet and even bought me cough drops because I was sick. HOWEVER, the rules posted all over the apartment were a little too much for me and the no guests was an issue…

Response from Tom I:
Anna brought an unauthorized visitor all of a sudden so we asked him to leave but the man would not leave and Anna did not try to help the situation right a way. No Unauthorized Visitor Rule is one of our most important rules in order to protect all the guests including Anna's party in our house. Families including young kids, young students or ladies are staying in our house. We must know who is in our house all the time. We are sharing a huge common area and the big kitchen. We do not want any stranger walking around. Anna said why visitors are not allowed in her review.. that's because 1) we said so in the first in our listing before she booked also we repeatedly said so when she checked in. 2) We can not draw a line saying who's friend can visit and who's friend can not.. if we say ok to somebody then he or she may bring a friend and that friend may bring other friends, maybe they could be not a friend but somebody met 10 minutes ago in the bar or street. We don't want that happen that's why. Official additional guest is OK within each room's capacity with our permission.
