In the Vesuvius National Park a farmhouse has been restructured dating back to the end of 1800. At ground floor level, surrounded by a Mediterranean pinewood, there is an apartment featuring all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay. The house is located in a strategic position, 5 minutes from Pompeii and Herculaneum. A rich breakfast will be served upon request by the Jacuzzi, with a suggestive view of the Vesuvius.

The space

The apartment is made up of a master bedroom with double bed, a single bedroom, a living room with queen size sofa bed, a kitchen and a bathroom.

All of the points of interest can be easily reached from the house, either by train or by car: Pompeii, Torre Annunziata (Oplontis ruins), Stabiae, Herculaneum, the Vesuviun, Sorrento and Napoli.

The Leopardi train station is located a 20 minutes walk away from the house (on the Napoli-Sorrento line).

It is also possible to reach the islands of Capri, Ischia and Procida by ferry boats leaving form Sorrento or Napoli.

The house has a swimming pool and a Jacuzzi, that can be used for free by the guests. The use of these amenities could be shared with, at most, another 5 guests since we only rent out another apartment.

The swimming pool is available from May 15nd to September 30th.

The Jacuzzi is available from April 17th to October 15th. (Jacuzzi water is heated)

Upon payment of a reasonable price, a rich breakfast will be served by Jacuzzi with a view on the Vesuvius, during the specified periods, or it will be comfortably served in the apartment itself. The guests will have the chance to try the fruits of the garden., strictly organic.

Interaction with guests

During the stay we will be happy to help our guests and provide all the information needed.

Carolina and her family were wonderful hosts. They suggested some great places to go and eat in the area. The location is absolutely beautiful with the volcano in the background. The jacuzzi was a huge plus for us after a long day of walking! She was even kind enough to make us some traditional food from the area! It was amazing! Just a head's up, the drive to their house is very narrow, so it's not as accessible with a big car.

The apartment was basic but really had everything you would need for cooking, washing etc. Its location is perfect for visiting all the beautiful sights around such as the Vesuvio, Herculaneum, Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast. The hosts were really nice and made our stay very pleasant. We were even offered a traditional italian dinner on our last night as well as homemade wine and liquor. Since we visited in late September the pool was a bit cold already, but relaxing in the Jacuzzi after a long day of sight seeing was just priceless. Thanks for everything, we would absolutely recommend staying at Carolinas place when visiting Naples and the Amalfi Coast, it was perfect :)

Staying at Carolina's place was incredible. The pool and garden area is beautiful, and her whole family made us feel so welcome! Their generosity went above and beyond all expectations! Very close to Pompeii and Mt. Vesuvius, and a train ride to Sorrento. Highly recommend this place!

Very dark inside the house with very basic furnishings and looked more like a hostel than a villa. Outside area was nice

Myself & my girlfriend stayed in one of the two apartments for 4 nights in July. Whilst the apartment itself is fairly basic, it is very spacious for two people and had all the essentials you would ever need for a stay. Besides, most of your time will be spent in the beatiful garden - and it is truly wonderful! Most of our afternoons & evenings were spent relaxing by either the pool or the jacuzzi, soaking up the picturesque vista that Vesuvius has to offer. Again, the grounds are very spacious - so even with other guests staying we had as much privacy as we wanted. In terms of local amenities - the villa is within walking distance to a small grocery store which had everything we needed for our short visit (mainly breakfast supplies, packed lunch & snacks). You can also walk to the nearest train station which is on the Naples-Sorrento line, so perfect for day trips. As we had a hire car, we drove into Naples & Pompeii on separate days, each taking no longer than 25 minutes - although I'd recommend making use of the public transport links as driving in Italy is as bad as it sounds! Finally, as for the hosting - we could not have asked for a more friendly & welcoming stay from Carolina and her family. Her son Adriano was our main contact & translator (Carolina & her husband didn't speak much English) and offered to meet us in the nearby village to escort us to the premesis as they would be slightly difficult to find if you didn't know your way around. For those without a car, they even offer a pickup/dropoff from the airport! We were offered recomendations for local amenities & eateries and tips for the tourist destinations. We were even offered a home-made meal on our final night, cooked by Carolina to be ate by the pool - a luxury which was offered to all other staying guests as far as we could tell - in addition to sampling some of her husband's home-brew walnut liquor! This was the perfect way to end our trip, and we will be recommending to all of our family & friends! Thank you again!

Absolutely fantastic! The family could not have been more helpful, picking us up from the station and dropping us back when we left as well as cooking us a lovely dinner on our first night. Her son even drove us to a supermarket because the local one was closed. The view from the garden was spectacular and it was in a perfect location for visits to Pompeii, Vesuvius and Herculaneum. Couldn't recommend this place more!!

Our stay at Carolina's place was absolutely fantastic, we loved every second of it! The apartment was just like in the pictures, very spacious and very clean. The pool area was also great, and so was the hot tub! Carolina and her family did everything to make sure that we were comfortable and were easy to communicate with. Carolina prepared a wonderful dinner for us on our last night there and the whole family want over and beyond anything we had expected! We would recommend anyone to stay here! It's close to all the sights and the family is so welcoming!
