Shoggie and Ken's place is well located, close to JR lines to access Kyoto and Nara. Flat is clean and quiet though there could be more in the way of cutlery. Shoggie and Ken are very quick to respond to any queries.

The location was super strategic as it was near to two stations: daikokucho and imamiya. Commuting to KIX was easy as Nankai line was at Shin Imamiya. I booked this room because it was shown that there was a bidet and iron but the bidet wasn’t working and there was no iron. Besides these two factors, the house was perfect.

Good points first: good location, nice apartment which is pretty clean. Dissapointments: - Not responsive at all: he doesn't want to talk on the phone, he usually doesn't pick up his phone and he responds to my message on Airbnb really slow. - Reliability: He said he would confirm the refund for my wifi fee before my stay ends but two weeks have passed and he can't be contacted. - Facilities: Wifi was terrible. I couldn't use it during my stay. He didn't seem to want to fix the problem. Toilet's door was broken and no ceiling lights in the bedroom and Shoggie said I should have known it already. Conclusion: I was really pissed. The stay alone was a terrible experience. The host's attitude didn't help even one bit. Talk about it again even make me feel frustrated. I would never book any apartment from Shoggie ever again.

The place is a bit of a walk from the station and we were having a bit of trouble finding the place but luckily managed to find it in good time. Upon arriving at the place on the check-in time we found that the room was still untidy and not yet cleaned. We contacted Shoggie which he replied in a timely manner and had advised that the rain (it was raining that day) might have delayed the cleaning process. So we just accepted that and gave extra time for the place to be cleaned. When the cleaner finished cleaning, we went inside but found the toilet still a bit dirty and had an odor to it. The room was also pretty small. Maybe the timing was not right so we did not really enjoy our stay although the area is pretty convenient if you want to go to Namba.

The location is near JR Imamiya, which was definitely convenient for us since we have JR Pass. The neighborhood is quiet and cozy, and the people were very nice. There was a nearby Lawson store, which also helped us a lot. The place itself was spacious and clean, there were amenities available (towels, kitchen utensils, toiletries, etc). Our slight issue were the toilet bidet and wifi, which were not working. But overall, we loved the place and would definitely comeback. Thank you, Shoggie!

The room was alright its just that we dont know how to connect to the internet and no iron can be found (we needed that to iron our clothes and headscarf). Other than that, we had a comfortable stay.

I know how exciting it is to plan a trip and I'm here to help you get the most out of your time in Japan!

My Name is Shogo, coffee lover, book reader, passionate about designing a happy life! I was born in Australia, raised in Osaka by my Australian Mother who loves to bake and my Japanese father who I consider very traditional.
I've lived in Osaka, Tokyo, Adelaide, Berlin and have traveled to China, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia. I've met many people around the world and I found my self introducing my favourite things about Japan and cool cities to visit to them. Now that I'm back in Japan, I want to invite people from all around the world to my space for you to have the best time possible in the country that I love so much.

It would be a great pleasure of mine if I could,
Meet you and your friends or family who you are visiting at the station,
Have a short introduction to Japanese culture and it's history,
Answer any questions or concerns that you may have,
Just have some coffee or a cold one to get to know you!

Japan is a special place, and I hope to be the person that enriches your experience while you are here.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
