Our stay was pretty much perfect. Gudjon is superb host - communicative, friendly and very helpful. Room was very clean and warm. Location itself is great - quiet residential area close to bus stops and not far away from city center. Highly recommended.

Gudjon is super helpful and overall an amazing host! It takes less then 15mins to get to downtown form his home, he replies relatively quick if you have any questions for him about anything, provides suggestions and stories about his home and Iceland. The room is very clean and warm, love the heated floors!

I had a great stay at Gudjon's home. Gudjon and Liney are really friendly. The room is big enough for one or two persons. The bed was really comfy. The house is not in the city center but you can take the bus easily. Definitely would book it again if I would travel to Iceland again.

The room at Gudjon's was perfect for my trip. The place is under a 10 minute drive from downtown and is situated on a very pretty street with a great view of the city. The room is clean and comfortable , with an amazingly comfortable bed. It is also more modern and comtemporary than the pictures led me to believe, since there have been changes since the pics were taken. The breakfast is copius and varied and if you are lucky, you might have it with Gudjon and his wife. The best thing about this place is Gudjon, who is a very nice , welcoming, easygoing and interesting guy. Despite having hosted several travellers, he has not lost one bit of his enthousiasm for doing so. He obvisously loves his homeland and will enthousiastically give you insight on Iceland and travel advice, which was hugely helpful for my trip. If you want a nice, comfortable room and meet a friendly enthousiastic Icelander, look no further.

The place is really clean and comfortable. Gudjon is an excellent host. He is really kind and even picked us up from the bus station when we arrived late at night due to flight delay. There is nothing that I can complain about as everything was nicely organised. I will totally recommend the place.

Gudjon is an amazing host. He knows so much of Iceland's history, including the Vikings. He was very welcoming and incredibly accommodating. Take a minute to listen to his stories. There's so much to learn about this amazing country. We are already planning on staying with him again.

Excellent place to stay in Iceland, the house was fantastic. Gudjon picked me up from the BSI station, told me a bit of history on the way to the flat. Nice comfy room, super nice folks, very accommodating. I was just there for the day and they let me check in super early. Highly recommended place to stay.
