The space

It can accommodate 8-10 people staying overnight. It's a house with a great common area and yet with bedrooms that you don't want to leave!
An ideal house for a family - or even two.

It has been a theatre and was built as a guild's hall, now it's the home of a family with small kids - and the hall (also) serves as an indoor playground. The room is large enough to accommodate kitchen, swings, children's corner, the dinner section and comfy furniture to rest in. Bedrooms are upstairs and in the back of the house. There are three toilets and two baths and the small front garden is big enough for a garden party, a small portable pool for the kids and a sunny spot for breakfast bites in the morning rays.
Plenty of room, plenty of bicycles for all ages and plenty of activities to engage in within a 15-minute reach, i.e. the museum of Louisiana, the local swimming pool with its giant water slide and major cultural events every week.

And then comes the location!
8 minutes walk through old cobblestoned streets of Helsingør to the train station. 8 minutes walk to a beautiful beach (and another two minutes to reach the next two beaches). Kronborg Castle is 10 minutes walk, and thus the culture center Kulturværftet and the old restored shipyard is less than 10 minutes away. The beautiful woods towards Hellebæk lie just ten minutes walk away. Shopping (from supermarkets to fashion and cafés) is five to eight minutes away. Oh, and Sweden (and even better shopping) is just a 15 minute ferry-ride away. Not forgetting Copenhagen which is just 35 minutes away by train - and what a pleasant ride along the coast and through the woods.....
Yes, we love living here.

I have travelled the world - and so has my lovely wife. We intend to turn our home into a B&B one day, because we have a background in the travel and hospitality business and more importantly because we love to have people visiting. We care about the linen we offer them as sheets. We want them to feel welcome and well fed. We have been blessed with a house you won't easily find anywhere else. It's charming and inviting but never bordering a cutting edge design experience. This is Denmark and it's either cold or rainy (at least that's what most Danes tend to believe) and a house should be made for comfortable "hygge" and moments of joy. By the way we spent the entire 7 weeks of summer and sheer sunshine looking up different beaches every other day. Thus we think we've got access to the best of both worlds - indoor and outdoors.
