Interaction with guests
I make myself available if needed, and am in the home while guests are staying as it is a room plus common area, not an entire house space. Will meet and greet upon arrival, provide a city map or directions, explain transit and point out locations, quick intro and tour of home and common spaces. Happy to chat in mornings or evenings if guest are relaxing in one of the common areas but do not expect it.
Other things to note
Parking is on the street, 2 hour limit Mondays to Fridays only between 8am-6pm. So evenings, all night and weekends are unlimited. There is an unlimited daytime parking 1.5 block over so that can be used if wanting to leave the car parked for a weekday and use transit instead. I don't recommend driving between 3pm - 6pm as this is the peak of Vancouver RUSH hour and traffic can be extremely slow. If you require early morning transportation please check (URL HIDDEN) for bus and skytrain schedules as they do have variable run times especially on Saturdays and Sundays, an may not leave early enough for your plans.
The Bus/Train station is a very close taxi trip and likely less than 10$ if traffic is not in rush hour mode.
The Airport is approximately and 30 minute drive and has cost me approximately $40.00 but of course can fluctuate significantly with traffic. Skytrain runs to airport but you need to transfer at the Waterfront station in order to get from the "Millennium or Expo" line onto the "Canada Line" (this is still very easy.
Any questions just ask.
- We have a very friendly resident cat

- The bedroom has private 3 piece bathroom (shower).
Hello! My name is Karla, I have lived in Vancouver for most of my adult life and love this beautiful city. I have also travelled a lot previously and am excited to be able to offer my home as an option for travellers to see Vancouver. Some of my favourite destinations have been Palau, Turks and Caicos, backpacking in Asia and Australia... to list a few!
I also spend a lot of time travelling to Mexico and love beaches and ocean destinations.
