Beautiful, contemporary studio on a quiet, remote, 23 acre hillside overlooking the Catskill Mountains. Airy, amazing light, views, peace, solitude. Nature at your doorstep. Also check out our NEW listings: Table on Ten Earth House and Table on Ten Apartment.

The space
Main living area: floor-to-ceiling windows facing west and north. Beautiful sunsets through a forest clearing with two doors - one to the driveway, the other to private rambling meadows shaded by wild apple and maple trees. Uninterrupted views across a classic Catskills valley. Wood-burning stove, farmhouse table, rolling barn door into:

Master bedroom: handmade queen bed with new memory foam mattress, Muji sheets, high window, inset shelves.

Full kitchen with on-demand hot water, dishwasher, fridge, stove and rolling chopping table.

Stairs to loft bedroom overlooking the main living area with beautiful morning light. Queen bed, new memory foam mattress, Muji sheets.

Bathroom with antique cast-iron claw-foot tub and shower, on-demand hot water and vintage porcelain sink.

Satellite internet. Tivoli audio radio/iPod dock. Ceiling fan.

Covered outdoor dining area adjoining the kitchen, with hand-made picnic table and plentiful seasoned hardwood for the interior wood stove.

Walk out of the back door directly into 23 acres of private meadows, fields and woodland. Fire pit, open skies, stars, fireflies.

Parking for two cars at the end of a long, private driveway on a quiet road.

8 minutes from Bloomville and the renowned café Table on Ten, featured in Condé Nast Traveler, Bon Appétit, Travel + Leisure, The New York Times, Remodelista, designtripper and Wilder Quarterly. The Studio on the Hill offers a more remote option to the rooms above the café itself, private and rural, but inheriting Table on Ten's style and aesthetic - clean, simple, open, friendly. By staying with us, you become a de facto member of the community that congregates in Bloomville; venture into the village and enjoy the food (gathered from local farms, dairies and producers), join in a workshop, browse around the microshop, or just sit, drink coffee, read or work at your laptop. Then retreat to the isolated privacy of the studio whenever you wish. Come over for pizza from the wood fired oven on Friday & Saturday evenings, participate in workshops, other events. Or just lie back and take it easy. Check out our Table on Ten Guidebook for area recommendations (link above the map).

Taking into account potential allergies, the absence of fencing, livestock on adjoining farms and the cheerful variety of woodland creatures sniffing about, we cannot accept pets.

In winter snow season when it all gets a bit Robert Frost dark-deep-promises-to-keep, access to the studio can be slippery. The driveway is plowed, compacted snow. Whilst 4wd is recommended, the studio is also accessible by parking and walking on the rare occasions 2wd isn't doing the job.

For a general overview of stuff to do nearby, go to the AROUND section of our website.

Relaxing or deep-muscle bodywork is available at Table on Ten from Victoria Lundell, at reasonable rates, in our own designated room. Bookable through Table on Ten in advance. Vicky also offers private yoga at the studio, as well as forest yoga on site during the summer months.

Easy access to Table on Ten during its working hours facilitates you being able to enjoy breakfast and lunch designated days; pizza on Friday & Saturday evenings.

Cafe hours:
Thursday-Sunday 9am till 2pm (brunch)
Friday & Saturday 5pm till 9pm (wood-oven pizza)
Closed Monday-Wednesday

Great area for hiking, bicycling, visiting antique stores, yard sales, skiing and snowshoeing in winter, horseback riding, the Book Village of Hobart, Bovina, Delhi, Andes, Meredith, Cooperstown and many other undiscovered villages nearby. We can point you to trails, swimming holes, pack you a picnic, recommend farm-stands, other places to eat, walk, ride.

Or you can just stay close and enjoy life on the hill, as well as in and around Table on Ten and its friends.
