Relax on our north-facing acre property overlooking Hobbs Valley & the Whangaparāoa Peninsula. We’re just a short drive from beautiful beaches, Gulf Harbour Marina, & scenic hiking trails around Army Bay. From the driveway, you can catch stunning sunsets over Orewa.

Your kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, including tea & coffee, a double cooktop, full-sized fridge/freezer, & an air fryer. The bathroom is stocked with essentials like shampoo, conditioner, & body lotion.

The space
Your spacious 48m2 apartment located on an acre section is tucked into the northern wing of our large cedar home and offers privacy with both front and back entrances. High exposed pine ceilings run throughout the space, giving it a warm, natural feel, and a full-length verandah invites you to relax outdoors and take in the coastal air.

Inside, you’ll find a private bedroom furnished with a comfortable queen bed. The second room is a spacious 16m² studio-style living area featuring a king single bed, a sofa couch, a dining table with chairs, a TV, and a soundbar. If you would like an additional single bed we can set one up for you. So we could accommodate up to 5 in this apartment.

For added comfort and privacy, a soundproof door separates your apartment from the neighboring unit. The well-equipped kitchenette offers ample storage, a large fridge/freezer, all necessary utensils and crockery, an electric double cooktop, and an air fryer—perfect for preparing your favorite meals.

For short term stays a selection of cereal (cornflakes, museli, wheat bix and oats) is provided for breakfast, along with honey, peanut butter, marmite, butter, oil, salt and pepper and some of our beautiful Harmony Hill free range eggs. Additional eggs and produce from our organic garden maybe available for purchase so pls ask if interested.

An earlier check in and later check out maybe possible so please enquire if you need one.

The bathroom includes a large shower, vanity, washing machine, and a wardrobe/storage unit.

Step outside to enjoy a covered patio and BBQ area, complete with an outdoor table and chairs—ideal for relaxing or entertaining. We are a family-friendly establishment and cherish the joy that children bring. For the comfort and peaceful enjoyment of all our guests, we have implemented an age limit for children staying in our suites. We warmly welcome children over the age of 8 in the individual suites. If you wish to bring children under 8, we offer the option to rent the entire lodge.

This policy helps us maintain a serene atmosphere for all visitors while still accommodating families who wish to stay with us. Having said that for last minute bookings we maybe able to accomodate families with younger kids if the appartment next door isn’t booked out.

Guests are welcome to enjoy the verandah and deck areas at the front and back of their apartment, as well as the lawn directly in front. If both apartments are occupied, please be mindful and respect the privacy of your neighbours.

The extra acre of land further beyond our boundary is owned by our new neighbours. Luckily for us, there are no fences separating it, so you’re welcome to enjoy the space for now.
