Helena’s Place is very beautiful, comfortable and clean. It is very accessible by tram, taxi or on foot. The view from the terrace is like no other. Communication with Helena is excellent! She is quick to respond with all the ready answers to your inquiry. She had very good recommendations on things to do, places to see and where to dine. She went out of her way to research on any request/inquiry I made. Very helpful information. I will definitely stay at Helena’s when I return to Lisbon. Thanks Helena for having us.

Spacious and comfortable for two people. Plenty of light, very well equipped. Beautifully arranged with plenty of attention to detail. The area is perfect for walking around Lisbon and next to tram and bus connections. Helena is great and very helpful.

Helena's apartment is a real gem. The pictures listed are accurate and the apartment really is as stylish and well appointed as it looks in the ad. Spotlessly clean, great shower and plenty of pots and pans if you wanted to cook. We especially appreciated the coffee maker in the mornings. Helena was a perfect host. Unfortunately we were a little unwell during our holiday and Helena was so thoughtful and offered to bring us anything we needed. We really felt we had a friend in the city! The apartment's location is in the heart of the old town and the number 28 tram stops just down the street. If you walk through the cobbled streets to get into the main shopping district be sure to look out for older local ladies selling shots of Ginja for €1. If you head uphill toward to Graça neighbourhood call into SAGA Patisserie for Pasteis de Nata and coffee - the best we tried! There is a great view of the city from the Miradouro near there too. While the apartment is wheelchair accessible, the footpath outside is extremely narrow so please bear this in mind if you have any mobility issues to take into consideration. We will definitely return to Helena's apartment again. There is everything you could need and as a base for sightseeing it is perfectly located. There's no need to hire a car as you can walk easily into town in about 25 mins and there are plenty of beautiful sights to see on the way, such as some of the city's famous churches and museums. The trams also go very frequently but do be wary of pickpockets - the trams are small and usually crammed so do be sensible. And if you don't fancy the tram, or the walk back up the hill, Uber is very reasonable. At peak time we were able to get an Uber to the airport with minimal wait time for under €15. Thank you Helena for having us to stay! We look forward to coming back again soon!

Helena's place is very beautiful and well-equipped. It is also in an excellent location close to the trolley line and within walking distance to many sites. Helena is a very gracious host and quick to respond to questions and offer help. It was a pleasure to stay at her place and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Helena's apartment is a large one bedroom with a nice kitchen. Had everything we needed, including a coffee-maker and clothes washer. We loved hanging the laundry on the line outside the window! Bed was comfortable and nice bathroom. Have to say that the owners of the Alfama market on the corner were wonderful in many ways, including making the phone call for the taxi to take us to the train station. NOTE: beware of pickpockets, especially on the tram. Otherwise, a wonderful visit to Lisbon.
