The most beautiful view we've ever seen in real life. The week we stayed up in the mountains at Dino's place was an escape we dearly needed. The view is stunning, seriously it's the most incredible view we've ever seen IRL. The house is basic but comfortable and has everything you need. Be aware the roads up the mountain are very narrow and winding, it was an adventure getting there, and a car is a must. Just over an hour drive from Pisa airport, and there's a big supermarket en route that is convenient. If you want a beautiful relaxing escape from the world, stay at Dino's place!

The location is magical. The property is situated at the top of a mountain with views of two different valleys. It is very quiet and relaxing. The covered sitting area is wonderful to enjoy dinner and conversation with family. I really enjoyed resting under the trees looking at the view in the afternoon. The location is remote and is perfect for someone looking for an authentic Italian experience without the hoards of tourists and tacky shops. If you go, walk down to the church and play soccer with the dog. He's remarkably good.

Our stay at Dino's place was great! We were traveling with a large group to celebrate my Brother's 10 year anniversary/vow renewal ceremony that he hosted in Lucca. There was 17 of us total split up between 3 houses that we rented all in Monti Di Villa. If you are looking for a getaway in the mountains for a relaxing trip Dino's place is for you. The drive is a little stressful at first but you get used to it. I suggest trying to arrive at the house in the day light if you are not used to driving up mountains. Parking is a bit tight so if you are not used to driving in tight spaces you may want to avoid renting a larger vehicle. We had a minor issue during our stay but we contacted Dino and he was able to take care of it within 30mins after his shift at work. This was great to know that he was close by if we needed anything else. If you like to cook the Kitchen is great we made pizza in the outdoor pizza oven and enjoyed dinner and morning coffee in the outdoor dining area. If you stay here you will not be disappointed!

Beautiful house in a beautiful location. Perfect if you like quiet and secluded. Dino is a great host, brilliant communication and instructions on how to find the house, he even sent me videos of the drive upto the house which was a brilliant idea. The house was clean, bagni di lucca is not too far away and there was some restaurants very near by in pieve. Good location if you want to see lucca, pisa, florence and the cinque terra. I would highly recommend this placeand i eould like to go back. Dinis neighbours are very friendly too and they have a lovely dog. We saw a dear, fireflies and heard some wild pigs.

Lovely mountain views and a host that went the extra mile to provide great detail of how to reach the location of the property. I don't think we would have found it without. The drive in is very narrow, wing mirrors in and the risk of scratching your car is there. Also pulling out of the drive is a little tight and close to the mountain edge - so if you are ok with this, then you'll have no problems. The villa/cottage was very cute and the roof terrace a real selling point for this place. Heating was a slight issue as the pellet stove didn't really work, but the owner was quick to suggest the alternative gas solution so we didn't stay cold for long.

Dino's house is situated on an amazing spot on top of a mountain, with view of two valleys. Although a remote hideaway, it is easy to get there. The village is very quiet, and except for friendly neighbors, there are no services, so bring everything you need. The House itself is well equipped with everything you could possibly want and there's enough cooking gas and fire wood for months. The outside living room/lounge/terrace has spectacular views and is a perfect place to hang out, even more so in the summer. The surroundings give for great hiking trips into the nature. Then, there's Dino, whom, although we never met in person, we could only call the perfect host. Perfect how-to-get-there-instructions, tips for shopping and dining along the way, for hikes and visits to be made around, add to the general sense of being taken care of remotely, that he provided. So, discovering places, that you would never have found, living in a house so charming that you want to stay there forever, being taken care of like among friends, thats the true Airbnb experience! Thank you Dino and Family, we can't wait for a chance to get back there!

In the whirlwind of wedding planning, details of our honeymoon ended up on the back burner. While we had our flights, our accommodations hadn't been settled. I booked Dino's cottage at 4 am the same day as our flights, which made this obessive planner very nervous. The minute we booked, we recieved incredibly detailed information that included videos, maps, suggestions and general information from Dino. This was very helpful given the remoteness of the area. Once we parked the car and rounded the corner, we were immediately in awe of what the next three days would hold. A truly beautiful location. The cottage was warm from the stove Dino had lit, fruit and breakfast items left, and the views breath taking. As private as it was, we did get a chance to also meet some of the locals, all so lovely hand also made us feel right at home. Though it was sad to never meet in person, Dino wad so quick to answer any question we had. Hes the percect host. We will most certainly be back our next trip to Italy. And while I'd hate to share it, it's too beautiful not to be. Thanks again Dino for an amazing kick-off to our married life. Jenn & Brian
