My cottage is positioned on the edge of Burtersett, a tiny, tranquil village set away from the main road in the heart of Wensleydale. It has glorious, far-reaching views across the dale from the sitting room, sitting-out area and main bedroom. Just a 20-minute walk across gorgeous meadows to the town of Hawes and the Pennine Way, it is an ideal centre for exploring the Yorkshire Dales. There are walks in all directions from the cottage itself.
A cosy and comfortable 19th century quarrymen's terrace, the cottage has been recently renovated to a high standard offering tasteful and welcoming accommodation. The sitting/dining room has a flagstone floor and woodburner. There is Wi-Fi, freeview TV and a DVD player. Also on the ground floor are the kitchen and the bathroom, which has both a bath and a fixed shower over. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms. The cottage is heated by oil-fired central heating. Towels are included.
Interaction with guests
I do not live locally myself, but I can help with any queries you may have by text, phone or email.
Please show respect for the cottage and its contents. Please also respect our neighbours and keep noise to a minimum, especially late in the evening and first thing in the morning.
