My cottage is positioned on the edge of Burtersett, a tiny, tranquil village set away from the main road in the heart of Wensleydale. It has glorious, far-reaching views across the dale from the sitting room, sitting-out area and main bedroom. Just a 20-minute walk across gorgeous meadows to the town of Hawes and the Pennine Way, it is an ideal centre for exploring the Yorkshire Dales. There are walks in all directions from the cottage itself.

The space

A cosy and comfortable 19th century quarrymen's terrace, the cottage has been recently renovated to a high standard offering tasteful and welcoming accommodation. The sitting/dining room has a flagstone floor and woodburner. There is Wi-Fi, freeview TV and a DVD player. Also on the ground floor are the kitchen and the bathroom, which has both a bath and a fixed shower over. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms. The cottage is heated by oil-fired central heating. Towels are included.

A beautiful tasteful cottage in quaint Burtersett. Everything you require is provided from towels and linen to a fully equipped kitchen. A perfect retreat for walkers or those simply seeking some peace and tranquility. Great easy walks out the back of the cottage and a track from the village takes you to Hawes. We'll definitely stay again!

Beautiful cottage with everything you need. A short walk into Hawes for pubs, restaurants and shops. Burtersett is a great place to start some excellent walks from.
