My place is close to public transport, the city center, and family-friendly activities. We are within walking distance of a store, and a great restaurant. You’ll love my place because of the outdoor spaces, the light, and sitting next to the Rogue River watching the rafters, boats, geese, Egrets, Herons, and eagles.. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids).

The space

Our suite is a private space consisting of two rooms, bathroom and a kitchenette in hallway. Room A is a sitting area with a dining table and chairs, plus a futon that converts to a double bed. Room B has a queen bed. Guests staying in B will need to go through Room A, to access kitchenette and bathroom.

Guest access

This is your private space, total separate from our home. In addition, there is a beautiful patio with BBQ and table and chairs that you are welcome to use.
We are on the Rogue River, but do not have river access as we are about 60 feet above it, with a steep cliff. The river is about 75 feet from

Interaction with guests

We are generally available throughout your stay- always only a phone call away. We are sociable people, and love to learn about others. We will interact with you at your request, but will respect your privacy to enjoy the space. We won't intrude on your enjoyment.

Good value for guests who spend their time touring the area versus lounging around. Plenty of snacks and a couple of bottles of wine were a nice surprise. Upon arrival we asked the ground's keeper about fishing laws and before we knew it he had walked to the local bait shop and returned with a pamphlet with everything we needed to know. Impressive start to a very nice weekend.

Tucked away under a big pine tree, we were a little apprehensive when when we drove in. But when we walked in, we both smiled. It is plain, simple and unusual. Clean with fresh towels and linens, small frig stocked with breakfast items and bottled water, packaged snacks and cereal, and fresh fruit. Wine on the table. Bed is comfy, cable TV in sitting room and bedroom. Easy wi-fi. Lots of little touches. We stayed three days and were gone during the day. It was nice to come back to. The rooms are attached to the host's residence and walls are not good mufflers. Great place to stay at a great rate if you are out and about. Not so much if you want to stay and relax. Bed is comfy but futon in sitting room not so much. Only complaint is no plug in close enough to bathroom sink for curling iron. But there are plenty of mirrors throughout and I found a good space! :-) This will be our place to go when we visit Grants Pass. Oh, and we heard loud sounds and figured out it was pine cones falling on the roof <3 Thank you to our hosts for getting us in on short notice.

The view is very nice and it is very close to the downtown area (food/bars, etc.) Also very close to the river and hiking. Wonderful

Modest setting, well supplied, also with a great back yard view of the Rogue River.

This two room suite was really easy to check in to and very comfortable. The hosts left lovely treats in the fridge and snacks in the kitchen hallway for us to enjoy! Super easy to communicate with the hosts, but the walls are very thin staying here. I felt awful for having a cough late into the night, since we could easily hear the hosts talking earlier that evening. The location was not what we expected, a bit hard to locate in an odd part of town, but the river is right behind the unit and is beautiful.

We are a very happy couple. We love to travel, dance and socialize.
Our recent travels include an 11000 mile driving tour around the United States and a cruise to the Mediterranean.
In general, we are very easy going guests, and hosts. Due to allergies, we are unable to stay somewhere with pets or indoor smoking allowed.
Our life motto is enjoy every day as none of us know how many we have.
