Sheryl's farmhouse was wonderful - the perfect place for our family to meet up and share the weekend together. The house was beautiful and incredibly clean, the yard was lovely (our dog had a great time being a farm-puppy for the weekend), and the location was great. Sheryl made check in easy and was lovely to interact with. She even left us a few local baked goods when we arrived. Thank you Sheryl! There was lots for us to do on the weekend, and Sheryl gave us great tips for places to check out. We checked out Bass Lake Park, went to a few local shops, the local farmer's market, and the Elmsdale zoo. A great spot for a relaxing vacation with family, would highly recommend.

I highly recommend this house: it is private, quiet, cozy and comfortable. It was very clean and well equipped with everything you might need for a family getaway. The bed were comfortable as well. Sheryl is a great host: very attentive, friendly and accommodating. The house is in the country, perfect when you need to get away from busy city live but close to Orillia (15 minutes by car). We had a great weekend with our three kids.

This farm house was perfect for a family weekend and comfortably fit grandparents, parents, kid and cat! There is access to ski resorts, horse riding and great hiking but the best part was being able to gather together in the well equipped kitchen to cook, play games and be together surrounded by beautiful farmland.

I love living in the Horseshoe Valley area. My husband and I, along with our 3 teenaged sons, own and operate a beef/cash crop farm. Our vacation rental houses, that are absolutely charming, are on farms where the land is growing crops. We live close by, so we're only a call/text away if you have any questions or need help.

As well, I'm an elementary school teacher. I teach grade one full time at a local school. I love teaching and enjoy spending my days working with children.

We are so lucky to live in an area where there are so many activities and places to visit year round. I've become a bit of an expert on these places, so if you are planning a trip, I'd love to be a source of information for you.
